LT: Non-hoxne trove drops, volte, Reisenjima HELM drops, Selbina HTMB drops , pulse cells , moogle amplifiers, Ra'Kaz Starstone, REMA stone Coffers, Omen Wave 2 drops and boss materials (Nusku Shield, Moonbow Leather, Hope Crystal)

Malkavius got Malignance Tabard as ITG drop. 'Selbina HTMB drops' should join the rest of the newer HTMB in ITG loot pool.
I'll fix it, because it is clearly incorrect and needs to be fixed, but your suggestion is also incorrect.

I've gotten Hjarrandi Helm as an LT.

I'm just referring to it as it was listed. It makes sense that Lilith got a promotion and others didn't though.

Did they say they dropped Job cards from the pool? They were Thuds and I've got none so far this month

ITG: Dyna-D synth mats (job crystals, Ratnaraj), hoxne accessories, Wyrm Ash, Orb of Radiance loot, Wyrm God loot, Tartarus Platemail, Pulse Weapons and Armor(?)

LT: Non-hoxne trove drops, volte, Reisenjima HELM drops, Selbina HTMB drops , pulse cells , moogle amplifiers, Ra'Kaz Starstone, REMA stone Coffers, Omen Wave 2 drops and boss materials (Nusku Shield, Moonbow Leather, Hope Crystal)

T: Older HTMB stuff , Escha Zi'tah stuff, Vagary drops (equipment and materials), Delve boss materials, Heroism Grand Coffer, S. Ast. Det. Gr. Co, Abdhaljs Seal, REMA stone box (seen pluton box), Large Lustreless X box (seen scale)

N: Goldsmithing stones, Skirmish pouches (Snow/Leaf/DuskXXX +2, Horror+2), Reisenjima Stone Pouches (Fer, Tau, Pel), Geo scrolls, Voidwatch Synth mats incl Provenance (serica cloth, voidwrought plate, Sealord Skin, Ormolu Ingot, etc), Voidwalker Synth Mats (Pelt of Dawon, Befouled Silver, Kidney Stone, etc), Codex of Etchings, HTMB synth mats (Hepa Ore, Sif's Lock, etc but can someone confirm Wyrm Blood?), Lustreless X box

Anything seems out of place or wrong?

Citation needed on the REMA rocks. I still think box is noise and coffer is thud; until someone can provide a complete round's data with either of those in it, all we know for certain is that they can drop.

Also can someone point me in the direction of any good Chocobo Raising/Racing resources while we're at it? If im gonna need blue race silks to skill up digging, i might as well triple dip and finally raise a good one (recommendations on stats welcome) and get some of the racing titles, since i'll need chocobucks... unless you can buy items to trade in for chocobucks?

Most activities in FFXI are extremely repetititve but activities like the old version of fishing or chocobo digging are 100% designed around bots. You can tell that there went zero effort into them and no one in the design process asked themself whether this is fun or not.

Stuff like this is fine to occupy the OCD no lifers (actually it's not fine, it's sinister) and botters as long as no real rewards are attached to them. The fact that they now force it on everyone for BiS rewards is just evil.

The most two interesting items of this update, Hoxne Ampulla and Earring, primarily seem to cater towards players who take shortcuts and automate.

It's sad.

It's really sad how you just assume everything you don't like is a bot or an RMT.

Loads of people enjoy fishing, some people enjoy chocobo digging, and lot of people like doing crap like MMM, Monstrosity, etc. Very few people are botting chocobo digging (I've never even heard of a chocobo digging bot), nobody is botting MMM, or monstrosity, or campaign ops.

Most of the mastery rank stuff isn't botted, it's just for people who are bored or like checklists or whatever.

Also: having gil isn't "taking shortcuts and automating". Some people make gil by playing the game, not by automating or "taking shortcuts", whatever the hell that means.

You know what, as long as I'm asking really stupid questions - is there a way to track your lifetime Moblin Maze Mongers clears?

Like, I know I'm short of 1,000 because they won't sell me that title. But I have no idea how short.

Yes, you can, but not without third party software.

I wrote an addon for MMM to speed up various parts of the grind, and one of the things I found in the menu parameters of one of the NPCs is a count of total maze clears. I verified this by clearing mazes on multiple chars and always seeing it increment exactly by the amount I did, and when it ticked from 499 to 500 I was able to buy the fourth title.

I can see if I can throw together a really simple addon that would just spit out the specific parameter if there's enough desire for it, right now it was just part of the overall one I wrote that lets me command line deal with the NPCs so I'd have to split the logic out.

On an unrelated note, you can client side modify those same parameters so it thinks you have 1000+ and it'll let you buy the title, which is pretty funny. Tested that for shits and giggles on an alt with only 3 clears and now it's a Maze Overlord. But you won't be able to re-buy the title for 1 marble unless you modify it again. So I could cheat that title, but eh, I'm halfway there and I'd rather have it legit so I could swap it back any time I wanted.

Care to share the tracker?

2 LT and 2 ITG in one trove...

So, this looks like ITG was on the floor (8th chest), the reward chest was a gold LT, and the Terminal coffer gave you a second ITG.

Wow, I might have to keep doing Venus for 2x ITG chances.

Doesn't look exactly right to me, but again, a single month isn't enough for me to come to any solid conclusion about a complete loot table.

By Resolution DRK I mean DRK using Resolution, not just WS itself. So yes it's both WS frequency and WS damage. Prime DRK is still slightly ahead, but Resolution can be used for situation where you want to avoid skillchains with Savage etc. Also for infinity scission-detonation with prime WS. Also while being probably the best with Prime Great sword, Resolution setup can be done with many great swords.

Is it just my bad luck or is the upgrade rate of box 9 changed very negatively? Not that I have a lot of Venus Orb data before this patch, but these are my numbers
Prepatch:
3 gold, 13 rainbow

Nov 2025 patch:
9 gold, 4 rainbow

Sample size aside, thats quite the shift is it not?

Anecdotally, I agree. The upgrade rate seems lower, but the occurrence of LTs on the floor does seems higher.

If you are properly geared and have appropriate attachments, you shouldn't be dropping to dangerous HP levels even with Chainspell and Kaustra. Oil may be cheap, but getting smacked with Quenching Hammer because you have to move well into range to use Repair is risky. Mistime that, and you ruin your run.

I manually change to pet WS gear when my automaton has TP, so I dip lower than most people who just idle in pet -DT gear. Hammer is not risky because you are smart enough to wait until after you see(hear) the move being used before you approach.

I agree that people should play how they want to, just realize that optimizing old content is excessive beyond a certain point. Stand there waiting 30 seconds for extra buffs, so you can shave 35 seconds off the fight... right?

Trying my hand at puppeting the ambuscade frog and after a fair few attempts of mixing and matching gear and attachments I got him down to ~10% in overdrive and the puppet was able to finish him off. Not ideal but I'll take it lol. Been trying it with Grape Daifuku, AAMR + /COR for Beast Roll and King of Hearts for Dia. I am only JP ~180 (mostly invested into Overdrive Effect) so missing a fair bit of stats/gifts for sure. Successful kill was with this setup

ItemSet 401181
  • Soulsoother Head + Valoredge Frame

  • Optic Fiber 1+2

  • Turbo Charger 1+2

  • Mana Jammer 2+4

  • Auto-repair Kit 4

  • Flame Holder

  • Attuner

  • Magniplug 2

  • Inhibitor

  • Coiler 2

Light, Fire, Water maneuvers. Ohtas fully augmented, Salade is -10 Pet DT, Visucious is -10 MDT/10 Haste/20AccAtk. Pet gear haste and magic haste should both be capped. Pretty standard attachments except for Coiler to help make up for not having Double Attack from Taeon.

Any ideas what I can do to try to secure the kill in Overdrive? Would prefer to avoid Taeon if only because stones don't show up too often these days. Upgrading to Pitre Tobe +2 seems a definite yes, otherwise I'm thinking a Cath Pulag Ring to replace Varar and/or Enmerkar/Domesticator to replace Sroda (which originally I misread as Pet Double Attack +7 lol). Or am I overvaluing the +automaton levels on Karagoz Earring and Mpaca Boots and maybe look at those slots instead? Thanks for any insight.

Hiya Nsane!
Thank you so much for making this! So far, it's been a fantastic upgrade.

I did have a quick question. I noticed when applying Treasure Hunter, it will appear in the debuff display list for a couple of seconds, such as TH4 ect. and then falloff/disappear. Was this intentional, or would it be possible to have it stay on the list until the target dies? Thank you again!

Sounds like they're getting a lot more confident with things to be willing to do that. I know it's probably just a series of queries and a process they use for sequential dbox sends, but in the past I never would've imagined they'd bother for something like this.

Are you implying they're behaving like how a modern-day video game company should?

Its definitely not "all of the escha gear"

No, it's "all the rest of the escha gear" meaning, everything else that is from omen/reisen that doesn't belong there.

What pool did pulse weapons end up in? Pulse bodies? The point was just that a lot of items were pulled into the pool by association rather than because they were selected to be ITG worthy rewards.

Multi-hit from this will not proc on single hit weaponskills

We have proven this to be false, all forms of multiattack that apply to WS also apply to single-hit weaponskills if it procs, which then becomes two hits.
