I dont think the crafter crystals follow traditional rules. I havent tracked HQ rates, since theres no way to put it in the chat log and im not manually tracking every kit I make, but I can easily eyeball that the break rate is closer to 1%, which would not account for Ionis’ buff.
But that does remind me about something I wanted to ask:
Battlemod modifies the chatlog and reports HQ tier after a synth? This should be from the inbound result packet and should be able to be implemented in craft the same way with moderate ease (assume beginner skillset)?

When crafting sets for crafters points, I've always been under the impression that the set level is the same as the skill level for HQ purposes, but I actually dont see that anywhere. For example a set 90 would T2 at skill 121+. Is this right or did I just make this up?

That makes sense, thanks.

Thats why I struggled with FF8. I didnt know the bullets in the gunblade mattered.

I have another suggestion. As it is now when the Max label is disabled (settings.DisplayMax = false), the label is not shown, but there is then an empty space where it used to be. Can that space be removed? I was looking to have the chart fill in that space.

I got a chance to try out the new version and it's great. Enspell display is perfect, and knowing when my attacks are healing the mob is very useful. Thanks!

Are the servers running like *** for anyone else? I'm getting a crazy about of lag and dropped packets, NPC's taking 0-3 seconds to reply. It did lead to some funny and annoying scenarios:

|
|
 |
|
|
I tried this out and it's pretty neat. I like the visual and the hit rate indicator per mob is excellent.
Is there a way to make it keep displaying after the mob dies? Brain is a bit too slow to absorb all that information and I wanted to keep seeing it after the mob died so I can check it.
I did see the '//aaev show' command but when I do that, the chart is already blank, though it does keep the max and hitrate numbers.
If not, no problem, it's still very useful even as is.

Iono, I think it would be kind of obvious if the bullets 300 base damage would count into your melee WS or auto attacks considering Naegling has only 166 base damage.

I'm not sure if that's gonna work for the scenario that started this whole thing:
With parties having refresh / songs apparently MP isn't a huge issue, but for solo I do need to help myself a bit. Hi all, I play BLM for fun (so outside Ody or Sortie), mainly to run around spamming nukes at targets.
He's solo without "all the refresh buffs". Viles are great for like...one battle where you just need to make it through a tough period, not as a viable long-term strategy to maintain MP while "spamming nukes at targets"

I always default to staff on blm and sch because then everything is much simpler with myrkr.
That said sometimes you can squeeze out a little more damage with clubs depending what you are doing, yes of course use what tp you have for moonlight and you need to be a lot more thoughtful about mp management because that is so much weaker than myrkr. Still if there are moments for you to pop elixirs or swap to staff with occult or you can just stack all the refresh buffs it can work out.

Nothing says efficiency like changing weapons every 6 nukes to get your MP back, thus dropping all of the TP you gained from those 6 nukes.
If someone asks you what kind of condoms they should use to swallow razorblades, you shouldn't give them a recommendation, you should tell them not to swallow *** razorblades.
Use a GD staff, lock it, and then use Myrkr (with a proper set) when your MP gets low.

I'm saying you don't need to nuke in occult gear for ***dmg just so you can get TP.
You can nuke normally, in a staff, for very close to club dmg and get TP at the same time.

I'm making a shield and bought the final crafter points items. Can I contract with a different guilds to farm GP, or will it destroy my shield?
You can definitely change GP guilds any time you want. It is extremely difficult and deliberate to stop the escutcheon process.

I do lots of weapon swaps: (probably overkill but I try to squeeze as much out as possible)
Excal/Duban at the start for doing D objective. Seraph > RLB > Flat > Savage > KoR.
After D (depending on DD) I swap to Burt/Svrista for kiting H. Overkill but damage doesn't matter and losing hate is the only possible issue.
After H its Reikiko/Duban (or Aegis) for doing CBA bosses.
Once down in F I swap to Burt/Aegis for kiting and leave that on through G and E.
Excal/Aegis for Aminon.
Tips: I banish2 C/G plus the mentioned JAs. Save SP1 incase you need to blow it for a bad bitzer. Tank G at 5.5 and have your teammates stand at max distance on the other side. If you are doing Naaks/Flans after Aminon save Sentinel after WC during Aminon for quick snap hate after the mobs are tagged. PLD can do respectable damage on Aminon don't sleep on your contribution.
Why Reikiko? Do you need the Regain on those particular bosses? It's probably because he will have TP upon reaching those NM's after running.
I use Burt/Srivatsa for everything but Aminon which is Excal/Aegis, and D Obj which is Excal/Duban.

I'm asking if the 300 DMG is counted in melee attacks
I believe my statement stands.
It is kind of funny though, that there's still questions floating around if bullet damage equivalent to REMAs applies to autos.

I am looking for a definitive answer to whether an ammo piece for a ranged weapon's DMG and stats are counted into regular melee attacks and non-ranged WS attacks. That is, does it benefit me to have Hauksbok Bullet equipped when doing Savage Blade?
I don't know what everyone else is rambling about, but back to the question: as far as I know, additional stats on ranged weapons and ammo DO count for normal melee attacks and non-ranged WS, the same way the reverse also applies (melee weapons stats affect ranged attacks/ws, with some conditions, "Main Hand ONLY"). The damage rating on the ammo has zero effect on melee attacks or melee WS.
Examples:
Hauksbok Bullet's MAB+40 will indeed give the same MAB effect if you use Aeolian Edge, for example. The same applies to Hauksbok Arrow's +20% WSD for something like Savage Blade (which is kinda why Savage RNG is busted with TP Bonus bow). Bayeux Bullet's -50 Enmity applies to all attacks, not just ranged attacks, though you wouldn't shoot it anyways. You effectively have capped enmity reduction for any action. But the ammo's damage rating does not impact your melee damage in any way.
Even Molybdosis's Critical hit damage +10% affects Evisceration damage or normal melee attacks, for example, even though the stat is on a ranged weapon. I can't recall if something like Tauret works for Ranged attacks, though (these are reverse examples)
However, some examples don't always work, at least in reverse order. Naegling's attack bonus doesn't apply to ranged attacks. Tenzen HTBF's "TP Bonus" Bow doesn't work for melee WS. However, augmented "TP Bonus +" gear does work for every WS, but those are special exceptions because the augment is unique. I know you specifically asked about ammunition, but I'm mentioning weapons too since it's semi related.
Not being sarcastic, I'm just not sure how you can't tell this; the purpose of any STAT-boosting ammunition above like I mentioned is clearly intended for non-ranged WS or abilities like Aeolian Edge or Quick Draw etc, and NOT shooting (exception is QD), given by the fact that the item is Rare/Ex and costs a lot of Domain Invasion Points, or can only be used once every long cooldown. Ask yourself why would SE release ra/ex ammo that you can only carry one of, if the stat is only applied when the singular bullet is shot? You'd have to farm more points every time just for one WS (unless you Unlimited Shot). That wouldn't make any sense.
Anyways, as far as a "a definitive answer to whether an ammo piece for a ranged weapon's DMG and stats are counted into regular melee attacks and non-ranged WS attacks", the stats count for damage calculation, the bullet or ammo damage rating does not. That's how I understand it.
Thank you. As for why SE made a bullet you can only carry one of, I'm guessing for Quickdraw since it doesn't expend ammo. But you answered my question. DMG no, stats yes.
Asura.Clintbeastwood said: »ACSHUALLY (sorry, had to) he said, "DMG and stats", and afaik, DMG no, stats yes.
And you should be using Hauksbok Arrow for Savage Blade unless I missed something in the last year.
Answered you on page 1 brother, but glad you got your answer.
