Let me guess.

He was in an exp party (not building one, but in it) as it was being built, somebody was invited, saw him, and said "COR {No thanks.} and left.

And it happened over and over again.

Campaign party = more exp, mainly for buffers but anyone with AoE ja's or spells really..it also makes it easier to keep people alive.

Yeah, believe it or not, having 6 people whacking on 1 mob is much better than having 6 people whacking on 6 different mobs.

Specially if they share hate with each other (i.e. AoE buffs)

I don't see how. 6 mobs on fortifications, would be better for all 6 to be off the fortifications at once rather than one at a time.

Do you really think that it would take just as long to kill 1 mob with 6 people than 1 mob with 1 person?

until those that are soloing the mobs die then it becomes less efficient

Nope, when did I claim that? I am saying that the fortifications will take less damage though, if they are all off at once.

This is a case of "suck less" on their part.

No, you don't understand.

It doesn't take 6 people 1/6th of the time to kill a mob compared to 1 person killing that same mob.

6 people can speed up kills dramatically. Maybe 1/9th to 1/12th of the time.

Lets assume it takes 1/9th of the time to kill 1 mob when 6 people whack at it at the same time. 6 mobs, that means it takes 6/9ths (2/3rds) of the time to kill than to individually kill that mob.

Yes, the Fort takes damage, but it won't cause the whole battle to fail.

What don't I understand? My point was the fort takes less damage, which you agreed to. I never said anything about kill speed. Unless I've capped out my exp/allied notes, I'd be in no rush for the CB to end, anyhow.

Wait, I thought the whole point in Campaign is to keep the beastmen from winning, not for personal gain.

I mean, since some of the nicer rewards only come from having zones in allied control.

Lol, you can win if all mobs are taken at once. They don't have to be solo'd just leave none unclaimed.

And actually, more go for personal gain than beastmen. If they didn't need allied notes or jobs that don't get pt invites like pld could get into a 20k/hr+ meripo, guarantee campaign wouldn't even have HALF the people as it does now.
