I'll give PLD sub the auto and flash maybe shield bash but defender is better than sent from my exp in damage reduction since it last longer but you do sacrafice the att.
shield mastery hmmm i never noticed a differance since the genbu shield procs so much.
I <3 RDM give them both a try and tell me which you like better and why. If you have already enlighten me please on the situation and why.

My RDM is only 70 right now, but I've been experimenting on Lesser Colibiri for fun.
Mainly, what I have learned is that when I have Phalynx up, Stoneskin lasts a damn long time. When it DOES go down, I just Shield Bash and recast it. The mob is almost always stunned long enough to cast it. If it goes down again, I put up sentinal and take 0 damage while I recast. Worse case scenario, I have Flash (yes I have to wait till 74 to use) to recast Stoneskin. Also, when soloing, Shield Bash is IMMENSELY useful against Doll Meltdowns and Goblin Bombs. Basically, I can solo EM and T mobs with it at level 70. Which I think is remarkable. ~Yote Good stuff yote.
if you can get Bio on the mob it will last even longer add some tacos even better^^ From my exper in the Tree skilling parry and shield /war was better for me defender phal Pro IV stoneskin and i would tank up to 8 mandies at a time. any disrtactions though and i'd die lol. then i moved up to steel shells same thing but i added bio III. i did try them both but in skilling and campaign /war was always easier. with stuff that blows you up though /PLD FTW :-)
