Ok, I've had this problem for a while now, it seems to only happen on dynamis and rarely randomly when I'm going around the game.

I run on Vista 32-bit Home Premium, laptop.

Whenever im on dynamis I can't go longer than a few minutes and I get slapped with a message that says, Playonline viewer has stopped working' and gives me options to close the porgram or find a solution (which actually never does)
This has really prevented me from playing the game at it's fullest and it's very annoying. Any fixes?
I don't run any windower or third party programs or anything, and when im on dynamis I have everything closed. I run it on window mode, because even on full screen it crashes the same and i have to restart laptop.

May sound a bit weird, but I'd guess it has to do with your video card and/or processor, since Dynamis puts a heavy load on both..

Well if either of those is the problem, there's not much you can do.. If it's because of the video card, you can reduce resolution and graphics, turn off unneeded effects (shadows for instance)

If it's the processor, upgrading it is the only feasible fix.. You can overclock, but I've never even heard of a laptop being overclocked, I'd imagine it would be pretty risky/expensive as it would be hard to upgrade the cooling system to compensate for any worthwhile clock.

I believe it's a joke, since atari and systems of that era had absolutely abysmal graphics..

Post your dxdiag and people might be able to actually help you, rather than giving you very vague advice.

You can also post your settings from FFXIConfig to give the full picture.
