Fortunately, I haven't seen too many interruptions, if any at all. Closest came when I had a student tell me that they couldn't attend a creative writing clinic (voluntary) because he had to meet someone that was going to help him with completing CoP missions. I have used ffxi, regretfully, as an excuse as well. Couple weeks ago I skipped an open house because I had to pull Dyna.

I too have spoken in the auto-translate fashion. <True Strike>, <Too Weak>, etc... I've also said afk while talking on the phone with my husband /blush.
One thing I can't believe I did was during the late evening I looked up into the sky and saw a full moon... I then thought to myself, "omg full moon! I should go home and craft something." ... mind you... I didn't think of FFXI at the time. My mind actually thought of real life stuff T_T

As others have stated, I regularly start texts /t, use the Tab key to short cut typing. On my way to work, there's a road sign for OAK RISE FARM, I always read it as RSE.
I will also announce when I need to take a <Bio> <Break>.

About a year ago in class I was reading something out loud that that had "party" in it an I read it as "PT". No one said anything so I kept rolling with it. >.>
Another time, a friend, that also plays XI, and I were outside(crazy right?) and a bee flew by his face and his instant reaction was; "holy ***, where'd that spawn from!?" Laughed my *** off. :x

Was so exhausted and stressed (from RL stuff, not XI >.>) one night and decided to go lie down instead of skilling up on pots with a friend. In my sleep, I sent a text to my mom about skilling up on pots the next day instead and hoping we don't get slept. It was nearly completely incoherent, and I had no recollection of sending it when I woke up the next day. Sleep texting ftl.
I think about the only other thing was telling customers 10k or asking for gil back when I worked in retail, and that only happened like once.

Was walking down the street the other day, when a dog aggro'ed me from out of nowhere. But it checked as Too Weak, so kept walking and eventually deaggro'ed it.

A while ago when I was still in high school someone asked me which middle school I went to, I said Windurst. I didn't realize what I said until he looked at me funny and asked where that was. The name of the school is Winship.
Went to the grocery store and saw honey for sale, I grabbed it thinking I was going to use it to make acorn cookies (in game item).. I quit ffxi after that for a few months.
