The name change is kinda bumming me out also... Bismarck.Tragedy doesn't appear active (and hasn't in some time). To have to change my name after having it for over 6 years because it's locked by an inactive account blows. If the account was active, that'd be another story (as with Ryden and Ryden).
I've been submitting some feedback through POL (https://support.na.square-enix.com/form.php?id=20&la=1&p=0&fo=41) but unless there's a lot of feedback in a short amount of time, I doubt they're gonna change their current implementation gameplan. I'll just adopt (Seraph) Ryden's plan and add a "n" to the end of my name. - Tragedyn (...maybe not) How about

My other idea would be to find an NPC to match my character type (male Tarutaru with blue ponytail, see the signet NPC in Port Jeuno), and use his name if it's not taken... although the few I've found have dashes in their name. Tragedie
