Since the email doesn't actually give you any login info rather then a confirmation email. Why not everyone just log in with your SE Account anyway, whether you are accept or not.

I wouldn't share the URL because beyond saying "I'm in" pretty much revokes your beta rights, as stated at the end of the e-mail and the ToS you agreed to when signing up for the beta. Once the alpha beta begins we cannot say anything pertaining to the beta at all.

You get the confirmation email, and a link to where to log on and download the client. Obviously SE knows your SE id and pw, which will be your log in. If you got accepted you can log in with your id and pw, if you werent accepted you obviously wont be able to use your ffxi id and pw for anything that has anything to do with ffxiv.

I'm pretty sure SE makes sure that not just anyone with a random SE id & pw can log on to their private aplha testing.

Knowing how log happy SE is, I wouldn't be surprised if they logged all the people who attempted to play when they weren't accepted.

i didn't get invite. i have no luck so i figured i wouldnt. i did however get invited to fantasy earth beta. anyone else? and call me a cry baby if you want. but anyone who hasnt been playing at least 5 years shouldnt have got invites. its just wrong to us long time players. and no offense but if youre on a server like odin which is full you shouldnt get one over someone on a dead server. flame away people
