So, I was pondering the effects of this update.
I wondered, will it break the game?
Does this actually give me something to do now?
I was almost ready to quit
I had everything I wanted
Will this give me a reason to stay
Then
I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said "Fresh", and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought man forget it yo homes to Bel-Air
fail...

This is a story all about how,
My game got flipped turned upside down.
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there.
Tell you how I became a new 14 player.
In dusty ol Bastok, I was born and raised,
In Valkurm Dunes spendin most of my days,
Vokin' and Curin' and Bashin' all cool
All killin' some gobbies with my ninja tools,
When a couple of Devs, who were actin' all lame,
Started making trouble all up in my game.
Gave us twenny four mo' levels to grow our e-peen,
And I said 'I'm giving up and movin to Fourteen!'
I went to get the game, and when I got near,
The graphics looked fresh and had new music to hear.
If anything I'd say there're still cool guys at Square,
But I thought 'Nah forget it, log on and kill Hares.'
I played until about seven or eight,
I said to Eleven, '*** off, see ya later.'
Took a look at the region, of the new game,
And thought to myself, 'Aw ***, it's the same.'
WIN!

always love it, when ppl start to panic and Q.Q when SE is trying to give us something new. ppl always think they HAVE to do something. you CAN play the game. and you CAN play the game the way you like. dont have to play it in a specific order. of course IF you want something special like af3, you have to do something for it. but you know: its the same case like for af 1 + 2. if you want some, you gotta work for it. if you dont want it, who cares?
It's not a matter of QQ, it's the fact that they are doing this just before 14 that is causing everyone to go apeshit. There have been many zones/gear/spells/etc that have been built into the software of this game that SE has never released. To be frank, the 99cap should have been done years ago, in my opinion before the release of CoP or at the same time. For all of us who play endgame, we know this is exactly what SE is doing, creating an Endgame-Strategy for their money sucking baby of an MMO. Like someone else said earlier, it will push people to either stay or go. Granted many servers are already minimally populated, but it's obvious they expect people will leave, otherwise they wouldn't have announced a server merger at the same time.
I know SE will do their best to keep the game balanced, but really there are aspects to the game that aren't anyways. Throwing 24 more levels into the mix isn't going to make it any easier.
I've played since NA release, I run Limbus now a days but to be honest I don't even want to log back in anymore. I welcome the end.
