Ya. We had one not drop one.
I still wonder about that, its one hell of a glitch since its a 100% drop unless everyone already has it, which I know in that case, not everyone did.

My boyfriend came and brought me lunch at work today :) I slept in too late and didnt have time to pack one... so we sat in the car and ate lunch listening to the rain. He brought me a little potted orchid for my cubicle. Its beautiful! Now the task at hand is to not kill it!

Brings back horrible memories of camping that NM. XD I spent a cumulative total of 72 hours lurking in that dripping hellhole. <___< The hardest part was getting friends to actually come help me with it though. x__x

Ugh, sounds like the story for a good friend of mines! And Xeno would probably remember this, the LS everyone came to get the joytoy but wouldn't come back and help after getting theirs, one friend was continually outlotted but his good friends did come back to help him get it. I can't remember if I helped or not, I think Chary popped just before I signed on that night when he got his >.> I helped another random person whos friends/lsmates ALWAYS seemed to leave JUST as Chary's window opened. I don't think I ever asked for much in return, but everyone offered to help me with stuff after I did the whole Chary thing with them, then never helped <.< I still help them though u.u;

lol that's exactly what happened to me. :/ I helped with like 3 O-hats (actually still don't have mine lol) and then camped Charby with that guy for days, everyone was like "ohhh Carr we'll help you get joytoy" but nope I had to find other help.

If FFXI taught me one thing, it's never to help people and expect help in return. Also never believe anything that starts with:

"I would have helped but..."
"I'll help just ask me when..."
"If you help I'll help with..."
"I'll help you if I'm not..."

One of the more famous ones is "ask me when I'm not busy." Well derp, the point of playing FFXI is to find something to make you busy lol.
