The United States are really strict on physicians who want to come practice in the states. ;;
I've heard of some cases where they've asked physicians to repeat medical school! D:

Yeah ICL is in London ^^ Too bad Edinburgh rejected me :( but every university's applications has gone up this year because of fees caps increase from 3k to 9k! @_@
I originally wanted to go into infectious diseases, esp connected to the context of current global climate change. Stuff like Dengue fever, yellow fever, malaria, increased endemic area and seasons etc... But this epidemiology stuff is mostly research and academia if you're not out there with organisations like Doctors without borders - and then you're not helping with academia because you'll be so caught up with the front line healthcare...
So I think I'm gonna go to med school and see what I'm most interested in apart from that. I really wanted to go into Emergency/trauma medicine as well, and that's an area that Barts is supposed to be leading in. They're going to have the largest emergency and trauma department in Europe soon.. but I haven't heard from them yet :( - and even then, ICL has better teaching... :P

I have received five interview invitations and I have attended two of them so far~
I want to get an M.D. and a Ph. D. in Public Health~

Edit: Found out my friend is In Hawaii, so she is safe, the part of Japan she is teaching in wasn't badly effected, but close to there they got aftershocks & black outs.
And now we get a week off the game, I'm kinda glad lol I needed a week break & well they need all the power they can get, Beast of luck to Japan, I send my prayers.

mhm .. ya the ww2 begun 1939 if i remember right ( school to long ago.. D: ) and pearl habor was 1941..
It is really just sad.. most of the ppl that died there in japan wasn't even born, when pearl habor was.. ; ; why such stupidness.. D: i can't understand.. but well , what ever we say or think it wont change their attitude :x
