Oh just fyi to all the people who live in the Southern California area specifically Los Angeles County. Please make sure to get your meningitis vaccine. Another case was found this week.

Yes if you are in the LA county area. It's being given for free at all LA county clinics

We actually had a few isolated cases of (and deaths from) bacterial meningitis within the span of 2 or 3 years back when I was in undergrad. Because it's normally such a rare disease, people started getting a little suspicious of Vanderbilt Biomed. <___<

LoL. Yeah but I went into my dr's office the other week. Office was packed waiting to get the meningitis vaccines. I guess they are giving out both MCV4 and MPSV4(two shot series) in the clinics free of charge.

I'm still waiting on the second shot for MPSV4 :/

Here's more info on meningitis Issue here for those living in Los Angles County and surrounding areas. The most recent case took place in the east border of Los Angeles county. So I'm curious how Orange County and the Inland Empire will respond to it, since those two counties neighbor the case this week.
