Why would the medical community come into play? Physicians dont have sufficient background in embryology or genetics to make an opinion.

The scientific community, yes they were skeptical, not whether the procedure could be done or not, but of the life expectancy. Two huge different factors. I attended Ian Wilmuts lecture on cloning and engineering in 2001 @ UC Irvine. He even said any mammalian DNA could be injected into an ovum. Using a similar procedure of running a electrical current. The problem he stated was that the more complex the genome the less likely the offspring would survive. The procedure has been done on mice and published.

So like i said on the prior page. Did he do it, i think and most do think he did. Would he publish his results, most likely not, because of what is currently known on life expectancy of the offspring. Did the women give birth is another question? I was just stating u can fertilize the host sucessfully.

Also I don't think he had numerous publications on haploidization. "Antinori haploidization" turns up exactly 106 hits on Google, whereas "Antinori somatic cell nuclear transfer" gets over a million.

1) im not going to argue with an undergrad.

2) its google. its great for certain things, not academic research.

3) im debating genetics at 11pm at night on ffxiah. this isnt exactly on my "things-to-do-list" for the evening.

call it whatever u like. but im sorry i dont debate futile arguments.

More education does not necessarily mean superior. You fail to provide sources for any of your arguments, which makes all of them academically useless.

Besides, I know plenty of PHD candidates who are lucky to have passed high school. The only thing that keeps them in the game is good work ethic. Has nothing to do with how much they know.

But yeah, enjoy your academic superiority complex. It'll get you far in academia (that's actually true, it will).

It's perfectly fine for the confirmation of existence of "numerous" publications.
