How is this achieved? Well access to Bahamut V2

Complete ZM, CoP, Storms of Fate, Prommy Climb and Apoc Nigh.

Edit: Actually I think just Storms of Fate is required for the key item.

That's correct, you don't need climb or AN done to have bv2 access.

After you fight BV1, and get the Storms of Fate key item (Whisper of the Wyrmking), you need to wait until the next conquest update, then get a last cs by entering the palace in Ru'Lude Gardens.

You'll then have Shadows of the Departed flagged in your Jeuno quest line, another key item (Note Written by Esha'ntarl) and you'll then be all set!
