I'm sorry for another penta thread.

Can someone (vegetto prob) note the difference in dmg from 20 Att vs 7 str 7 dex and between 4 attack and 5 dex on greater colibri. Acc is capped and not an issue.

If your asking Okote VS AF Hands +1 then Okote, I can't however give you exact math differences in DMG, and unsure on which pieces the ATK VS DEX is.

To give an accurate comparison I'd need your attack before okote and str/dex before af+1 hands.

This is generally true

This is also true, but given 'normal' numbers, you are likely to find B.kote win.

im rather to lazy to find str/dex let alone attack which can vary greatly, so im gonna call this a failed thread.

btw 5dex vs 4 att was relic waist vs virtuoso

since this is already rolling, would a 5 Hit Polearm be worth it if it means using/full timing Rose Strap, Chiv Chain and Hachi Hands. or would a 6 Hit with max haste and WS set be better?

Kote unless buffed to all hell.

4attack will likely lose to 5dex when Berserk is up and not when it's down... or anything else which greatly amplifies attack. I'd just take the dex for the extra acc personally.

EDIT: Is this the Nightcrew I think it is?! Just eyeballing it there, I'd imagine the 5hit would win because the WS frequency increase is just huge. I could be wrong so if someone wants to do a more detailed analysis (read: not eyeballing)~

from parse numbers kote(att+20) > af+1(dex/str+7)

as for this
my build only swaps dusk for hachi to go from a 6hit GK build to a 5 hit polearm build, so well worth it, still maintain a 93% hit rate with crab sushi

course when u get a COR that insists on rolling SAM roll because there is 3 sams the roll is fail, they have to hit a 11 for a 4 hit >.>

hey Raen its me. AH has glitched my Char and re-verifying, lol.

i'd like to only use Hachi but i have the worst luck with Salvage so no Usukane for me. i like to feel i have a good set but my Dmg just feel painfully low. i'll admit i dont use food in Bird camps and when i was meriting hardcore it was /Nin or gtfo.

virtuoso belt has 12acc 4 attack relic belt has 7 acc 5 dex, virtuoso belt offers more acc.

True but didn't you say acc wasn't an issue? So why not warwolf?

Also finding your str/dex should be easy. Equip your ws set without the hands. Find dex/str. Now find att with and without beserk in whatever food you use. Or say what food you use. And we will leave outside buffs alone. Also what polearm you are using

Ah, my bad. I'd just take Virtuoso for the accuracy then~ can either add consistency there or make a more offensive swap elsewhere with the acc difference!

Ok I'm just gunna assume no outside buffs. Zerk up. No att food since you said sushi on your sets. Hasso up base 75 str and 70dex. Capped meritted polearm. Your ws set with crab showed +30dex +28 str and 30 att without gloves and using engetsu. So Now that means w/o gloves you have 100 dex 113 str and 470 att w/ af+1, 487 w/ kote.

Base dmg: WD + Fstr + wsc.

WD:85

fstr= (str-vit+4)/4

Colibri vit 67. 327 def lvl 82

fstr kote= (113-67+4)/4 = 12.5 = 12
af+1= (120-67+4)/4 = 14.25 = 14

wsc= int(.2str+.2dex)*.83

wsc kote= int(.2*113+.2*100)*.83= 34.86 = 34
af+1= int(.2*120+.2*107)*.83= 37.35 = 37

Base dmg kote: (85 + 12 + 34)= 131
af+1: (85 + 14 + 37)= 136

af+1 base dmg = 3.81% higher.

Ratio= att/def

Ratio kote= 487/327 = 1.48
af+1= 470/327 = 1.43

Cratio= ratio- .05*lvl difference

Cratio Kote= 1.48 - 7*.05= 1.13
af+1= 1.43 - 7*.05= 1.08

Pdif min= -0.5 + 1.2 x cRatio

Pdif min kote= -0.5 + 1.2 X 1.13 = .856
af+1= -0.5 + 1.2 X 1.08 = .796

Pdif max= 1.2 x cRatio

Pdif miax kote= 1.2 X 1.13 = 1.35
af+1= 1.2 X 1.08 = 1.29

So pdif favors Kote 4.65-7.75%.

At least for that far. As your Ratio goes up kote will be less favor. Especially if you cap at 2.2. So really just add your buffs in to find out

What's the "int" there? Your math looks fine skimming over it, just being picky... "int" normally means to Integrate!

Also!

It seems that ratio, cRatio, and pDIF values are truncated to 3 digits.

From wiki~ you have a few four digits there. Not a big deal by any means, but just pointing it out!

Int means the same thing as flooring. Usually calculators use int meaning integer I believe

Also yeah for some reason I was thinking 3 decimal points not digits my bad. Not like it ended up changing much. Like .1% diff lol

Ah okay, probably just my weird British way of writing things :p my lecturer for Maths often types INT(...) when meaning to integrate. I've had too much of that lately to read it any other way...
