AGI On DNC

lol ya i dont what other earring i use on my dnc besides suppa. or w/e. i need to regear dnc but to lazy

This is what I wear on my DNC for TP. /nin of course for this setup.

Ogre Jambiya, Behemoth Knife +1(augmented)
AF weapon for RA
Wal. Turban
Cobra Harness
Chiv. Chain
Brutal Earring / Evasion Earring
Dusk Gloves or Enkidu's
Rajas / Iota Ring
Amemet +1
Swift Belt
Enkidu's Sub.
Cobra Feet

I gear mainly for Acc with some haste in there. Even at lower levels i didn't go with agi or dex stuff. i went with acc and evasion predominantly. Just throwing my 2 cents in. I can lsit my evasion set-up if anyone is interested. let me know. First post on here btw. I love DNC so had to make first post about it.

Jambiya+1/Jambiya+1/Empty/Black Tathlum
Turban/Love Torque/Brutal/Diabolos' (I has a bushi)
Raparee(or af2)/Dusk gloves/Rajas/Toreador's

Is what have for my dnc, though the amount of time I get to spend on the job is rather low.

Pretty simple, in my case. I tend to solo on DNC, because I enjoyed it at the lower levels. It's kind of sucking at higher levels, though. It was also relatively cheap to pull off with gear I had laying around for other jobs, I just had to buy some knives for the most part. So here's my criteria for gearing Dancer:

- Cheap or recycled from/recyclable to other jobs
- "Tanking," i.e. no Eva or Def down unless it's vastly helping elsewhere
- Doesn't make a 5 minute fight take longer (Atk -)

So I have a degree of pride, and don't want to leave the slots empty. But my other choices are:
Eva+ Atk -
Atk+ Eva-
Eva+ Wallet- (Evasion earring, I'm looking at you.)
AGI+, Parrying/Evasion proc+

Now, which do you think I went with? :p

I hadn't thought about Diabolos' earring, but I'm one level short anyway. After seeing Vegetto's gear setup, it may be what I pick up the next time I help with a Diabolos fight.

tbh, none of the DM earrings seem all that useful to my DRG, apart from a STR+. But there's also Suppanomimi, which BLU and DNC will both <3 to death. DRG will get Brutal, so DNC's earrings were taken care of... once I'm a high enough level to equip them. The AGI earrings are a placeholder until then.

I donno what you have in mind for a DM2 earring but if you arent getting ethereal for your blue and drg (I assume you will though unless you dont like those jobs that much) hollow earring would make a nice choice for DNC.

It needs improvement, but thanks. The way it is now, especially w/o dagger merits/suppa, I don't even consider it usable lol

I'd prolly TP in a mix of haste and cobra if I had more cobra gear.

I've soloed Tegmine fine with Fan Dance and this set up. Really, can solo just about anything that doesn't petrify (or cast a long terrify) or cast a nasty -ga spell on you with Fan Dance lol

or things w/ a huge amount of acc/eva, things w/ rage timers (kill quick or die) and prolly a few others I'm missing out on, but yea lol.

Anyone ever sub anything other than NIN for DNC? (talking about dual wield levels and up)

I have an Ermine's, and I really really like it. Anyway, who wears AGI earrings besides QD CORs, srsly. It's all about the Haste/Accuracy/etc.

Im trying to understand why people like Armine's tail so much. Can someone tell me why people dont just use azoth?

Because Etail is better.

1 DMG and 4 acc doesn't beat an 8% increase in attack speed. When we're looking at lower delay weapons, it only takes a small amount of delay to make a rather large difference in attack speed.

Also Ermine's tail is really awesome-looking, has the most EVA of any dagger, and is free. :3

Makes sense I guess Azoth is just a stepping stone than.

Joyeuse will pretty much always be the best option.

Oh oh I do I do!!! Wilhelm's Earring Altdorf's Earring are pretty decent on rng at least. And solo TA. Still trying to see if they will be an improvement on dmg on TADE over say brutal and the 2dex/chr one. Not couting when I assassin's charge of course
