Chaos hands and Ohat have no stp as far as I know, so how does removing dusk hands (or turban) make a difference in a 5hit and a 6hit?

Still sounds really bad to me. Why would you want Madrigal in a meripo? I'd rather have haste gear and march/march.

Your posts are scattered all over the page, but it seems your main concern is 5hit w/ 95% hitrate.

once you get enough stp for 5hit, I still don't see how acc is going to beat haste.

Your build leaves room for turban/dusk/swift/homam/homam = 18% haste.

Let's say you wanted to swap off dusk gloves for chaos gauntlets+1

going from 18 to 15% haste. Chaos hands+1 will give 8 acc

Let's say your hitrate is 80%. 4/80 = 5% increase.

15% haste in gear, march (just 1), haste. = 15 + 11 + 15 = 41% haste. Going go 18% haste (dusk gloves) = 3/56 = 5.36% increase. You're going to land more hits w/ dusk >.> (especially if you use hasso and/or have a 2nd march)

Again, your posts are scattered all over the place, but why would you ever swap out dusk gloves for chaos gauntlets is beyond me.

For polearm, you'll be better off w/ sushi if you don't have full usu for birds, and pizza+1 for everything else (even if you have full usu, now's the time to swap out acc for haste and go w/ pizza). That being said, turban and dusk gloves

Would TP'ing with Ancient Torque not be better for Polearm? Should give around 2 accuracy more (prolly doesn't make much difference with the rest of your gear though).

Just curious =)

In uncapped acc yes, but he should be using acc food w/ polearm, so torque will win.

KK ya thats obviously the best gear all together but initially it was supposed to be the bare minimum gear to reach the goal. then it was argued that my acc would be piss poor so then i showed them what my acc would be at certain points in a merit party. then it was said that someones 6 hit 95% would beat my 5 hit so I showed how i would get 95%. I wasnt aiming to show what the best possible gear for this build was it was just what was needed to hit a 5 hit. i never truly cared about the 95% hit rate at the time though I realize its important but in some cases wearing the o-hat PCC and cuchu mantle at once isnt always necessary to obtain it which is what started this book that no one reads beginning to end.

in the end though, it's a poor 5hit. Need to use a lackluster buff (madrigal), lose out on a ton of acc, ect. 6hit w/ haste and better buffs will win.

but its just birds. i could use absorb acc and absorb dex on everything else which together would let me hit 95%. also were not including diabolic eye. I didnt bother including souleater since everyone hates it when we use that move constantly.

Wouldn't absorb acc just be reflected to someone else who has hate, including yourself? Seems counter productive to me.

With the build in OP, I don't see how you'd hit 95% on anything w/ more evasion than a colibri. I was thinking food (sushi) and was going to counter w/ meat, but your food is already chosen, and your acc will be locked in. You can argue madrigal, but that song shouldn't be used anyways and will lower the total output of your party.

Also that time being used to cast absorb spells that will likely get resisted by those VT-IT+ mobs is time you lose doing DMG.
