Unicorn TOD Thread, I Guess ^^

...Unless there already is one and I didn't see it. I didn't look very hard.

But yeah, instead of posting a new thread any time I get a TOD on Unicorn, I'll put it here. Now watch, I'll fail at getting every NM I go after from here on out. Haha!

Also, of course, it would be super-awesome if any other Unicorn ppl added TODs any time.

So, anyway, in case anyone on Unicorn wants to camp this guy, I'm posting the TOD for:

Timeworn Warrior - Xarcabard skeleton NM (WAR-type)

I wanted (and got -- yay!) the Jasper Tathlum for my WHM.

**His TOD is Tuesday night, 23:48 (11:48 pm) EST**
Vana'diel time: Firesday 9:10, New Moon (0%)

His window apparently (that's what I read) opens about one and a half hours after his TOD, so that's going to be shortly after 1:15 AM EST.

I killed WAR-type skellies in Xarcabard for about two hours and twenty minutes before he appeared at G-10 in the most open area of that <pos>. I killed all the WAR skellies in the short corridor areas in G-10, as well a couple below that Demon tower thingie (I don't remember what those are called) with the Demon hanging out in it.

I read that you really only need to kill two WAR-type skellies in particular, but I didn't know which ones, so…

Anyway, crazy-easy fight for any 75, I would think. I was RDM/WHM and he was a complete wuss. His hits missed me almost every time. I took my Stoneskin down so that I could see what he'd hit me for when he finally did hit me, and it was for 12 points of dmg. My Banish II did about 240 damage to him, but I don't remember about other nukes.

Anyone on Unicorn want? .....

Myradrosh - East Ronfaure (S) Colibri NM

TOD: 1:57AM EST, 17 Dec.

He'll almost surely spawn again shortly after 3:13-ish AM, EST.

I-9, E. Ronfaure (S), in the southeastern part of that <pos>, in the area near the wooden plank structure, east of the road.

Spawns just over every one and a half hours.

Killed @ 22:30 (10:30 PM EST) 16 Dec., no drop.
Killed @ 00:13 (12:13 AM EST) 17 Dec., no drop.
Killed @ 01:57 AM EST, 17 Dec., got the Restorer Cloak.

Eaaaaasy fight. I had my NPC out for the third one, only so that I could give her a li'l exp on Ladybugs after the fight. I don't think any high-ish job would need help on this guy. I was RDM/BLM.

Spams Feather Tickle.
Buffs himself with Shell III and Protect III, and Haste, all dispellable.
Also spams Diaga II and casts [Too Weak] Paralyze and Bio II.
Very susceptible to Para and Slow.

Nearly every one of my melee hits was a critical hit.

He didn't really get touch me, so I don't know what damage he does. He's definitely [Too Weak] to a 75 and probably lower.

If anyone on Unicorn is interested:

Belladonna -- West Sarutabaruta (S) Rafflesia NM:

TOD: 17:56 (5:56pm EST) 19 Dec.

Will likely re-spawn @19:24 (7:24pm EST) or about 5-10 minutes after that, since re-spawn seems very regular, every 90-100 minutes.

Spawns @ G-7 up on the ledge, in the lower part of that <pos>. Teleport in from a city instead of using the maw, and run up the ledge a little bit until you're just a bit into G-7.

Easy fight for any 75, and still easy for most 65's, I would think.

I figured this would be a 12+ hour NM ToD thread.
All these NMs respawn between 1-3hours >_>.

Having a TOD is good even for short-timer NMs, since having the TOD for ANY NM allows you to spend your time getting more done than standing around watching for a pop.

I already had someone tell me they started camping one of the NMs in this thread simply because of having the TOD. Even if no one cared at all, I'd still post any TOD I got, because, well, why the hell not?

Anyone bothered for some reason by this thread could always not check in on it. ^^

Went 1/2 on Shaman's Cloak (R/E) from Centurio X-I (BLM) in Quicksand Caves (the H-10 room on map one of Quicksand Caves, reached via the K-7 entrance from E. Altepa Desert.

TOD: 23:23 (11:23 pm) EST, about half an hour ago.

His PH is the Antican Signifer in the room. Centurio X-I popped 2.5 hours from the start of my camping him.

Easy fight as 75 RDM/BLM. I got silenced by an unnoticed link (I had gotten lazy and stopped clearing the room for Pauldrons and Acid) and it didn't even matter when my Stoneskin went down. He's cake.

He dropped the cloak, 4570 gil, an Iron Ore, an Antican robe, and a scroll of Stone III.
