It's funny how the flaws with XI got so many people into coding and stuff, and the massive downtime let them have time to do it (HNM being a prime example, where people did stuff between windows)

If XI took up all your time with being a constant rollercoaster ride and the devs fixed all the problems like adding a windowed mode early on, it's entirely possible a lot of people who went into coding later in life never would.
