Some facts that you probably didn't already know or care about:
When you die, hitting the "return to home point" button sends two outgoing packets.
When you die in Monstrosity, hitting the "respawn in this zone" button sends one outgoing packet. (It's also a slightly different packet.)

When you die in Monstrosity, but then send the "normal (non-MON) return to home point" packets...

(I had to use xicamera to zoom out enough to see the Home Point. Behemoth big.)

As far as I can tell, this does a few things you can't normally do, none useful:
Warp to a Home Point in zones you can't Monstrosity in: Xarcabard [S], Zvahl Keep [S], Den of Rancor, Attohwa Chasm, Upper Delkfutt's, Boyahda Tree, Quicksand Caves, Ru'Aun, Ru'Avitau, Newton Movalpolos, Riverne A01/B01, Pso'Xja, Hu'Xzoi, the six WKR Adoulin zones (no Yahse), and Inner Ra'Kaznar.
This also ignores monster size restrictions, so Large monsters also gain access to Yughott Grotto, Palborough Mines, Giddeus, Toraimarai Canal, Qufim, Fei'Yin, and Castle Zvahl Keep.
Four Monstrosity zones have multiple disconnected areas. Some HPs might be places where monsters can't usually spawn? I didn't actually bother to check any of: Bhaflau Thickets, Caedarva Mire, Yughott Grotto, and Mount Zhayolm.
Doesn't change the normal rules of Monstrosity. You can't zone again or interact with anything (No walking from Norg to Sea Serpent Grotto, I tried.)
Similarly, you don't keep your level cap Belligerency (PvP) status after the Home Point warp. (I specifically tested Qufim, which would have been a better leveling spot than Buburimu. I'm glad, because it means this isn't a useful exploit, so I'm more than willing to write this stupid post.)

The only possible use for it I can think of is grinding the Blanched Mandragoras in Ceizak for levels 90-99? I'd imagine mob HP inflation makes that awful versus Just More Buburimu Spam.

This is all boilerplate, but in case I wasn't clear:
Code
windower.register_event('status change', function(new, old)

    --status = "dead"
    if new == 2 then

	--make sure the server knows we're dead. (longer than needed.)
        coroutine.sleep(3)

        --get player id and player index
        local me = windower.ffxi.get_player()

	--inject "normal non-Monstrosity player" return-to-HP packets
	packets.inject(packets.new('outgoing', 0x1a,
	        {
		['Target'] = me.id,
		['Target Index'] = me.index,
    		['Category'] = 11,
		}))

	packets.inject(packets.new('outgoing', 0x1a,
	        {
		['Target'] = me.id,
		['Target Index'] = me.index,
		['Category'] = 11,
		}))

    end

end)

P.S. If anyone still has an Al Zahbi home point left over from before May 15, 2006, I don't see any reason you couldn't HP warp into the middle of an ongoing Besieged as a monster?

P.P.S. don't report me, the character named Puppetmaster Immeasurable Behem

You can also send a large monster into any zone a small monster can enter by just sending the outgoing dialog option when you select the zone.

This feels a bit more hacky than normal for this forum, though.

This is nowhere near as hacky as gearswap injecting packets that a human cant possibly do between actions. And tremendously less useful outside the ML spergs.

This is .... incredibly clever. I want to take a Giant Sandworm into Beseiged! Such a shame that the risk of ban (on a closed server) for attempting this is too heavy a price.

I’d love to be able to show off my large monsters in a zone like SoA where ppl actually visit…

It’s a shame monstrosity was cut short. They clearly intended to flesh it out way more than it was.

Are you saying you can do this without third party tools and just the in-game dialog selections?
