July 2026 Version Update

Are they already in there? I thought Shinryu took a few months to get added but I've forgotten.

I still use my desultor tassels for the phantom roll recast aug. If the ilvl versions can’t be augmented I think I’d stick with the original when we get to the shantotto fight since the Ilvl stats are so underwhelming.

If CoD is any indication, they will be.

If you go to floor 1 you'll end up on the old floor 1 which still exists and is now totally empty except for the exit porter back. Which I totally know because of a friend >_>

Jeez, there's a few small gems in this update, but most of those drops are utterly disappointing. It's abundantly clearly they have no idea how jobs or battle content in this game function.

It's sad when I looked at the ammo and thought "nice, a Resist Charm piece for my all-resist-set!"

Seriously bad, but definitely more to help newer players who don't have R20 Odyssey gear or whatever.

Silver lining, if you were contemplating changing your Nyame B to something else, and counting whatever jobs already have a WSD+ JSE body or Mirce Wardecors, here are the few jobs that would lose WSD in the body slot:

GEO BLM SCH RDM* WHM PLD DRG* NIN*

Only taking the serious jobs that do melee, DRG and RDM (SCH/SMN) do have a PDL body piece in Empyrean +3 and R30 Bunzi's Robe respectively, for when they are attack capped. I don't think there is a WSD body either can wear when not capped, but DRG probably could afford to lose 12WSD since it has a lot in traits anyways. RDM would just have to eat the loss which is not ideal.

NIN loses a huge Hybrid-WS body if it downgrades to Mirce Wardecors, which IMO is its best set of WS.

GEO/PLD would lose a good WSD Nyame body for sure, but both are lower on the DPS ladder anyhow during Aminon/Sortie bosses, so that could be a worthwhile sacrifice to open up for other jobs.

Other Negatives:
-Mirce Wardecors has low STR and less Attack and Ranged Attack vs Ranked Nyame, and no Skillchain Bonus (kinda minor).
-Also is job-limited
-SAM is same as NIN for hybrid, but Relic+4 body is still very good so it could make out fine, and Mumei is busted AF anyways so you never NEED to hybrid (or just eat the loss, you're a SAM...)
-RNG + DNC downgrades with new WSD body vs Nyame, but they are already able to be very strong with Hover Shot + Climactic Flourish WS, so kind of minimal loss.
-RUN downgrades too, but lolDD RUN in 2026

Interested to see if they continue this trend with the legs and hat pieces from the other HTBFs (if they go that route) in future. Might give more openings to move off of Nyame B for some jobs if they can fill the WSD gap elsewhere.
