Funk did all the work, no stolen valor. Please consider contributing to the individual item pages, every single tier of each new weapon needs its purification/synth info added (except Shield). We also need information on which shitty augment matches which weapon.

Spicy has a history of being awful, but this Hya guy seems to make on-topic and informative posts with a focus on facts. I like em, personally.

Hya is absolutely not Spicyryan. Was in a static with both at separate times. Stop spreading misinformation, that’s not cool. Hya is a dope dude and he was there when I disconnected during v20 Arebati on Ranger and we lost, but he forgave me. Spicyryan would never forgive me for having an internet issue.

Yes he is, original character wasn't (but was his good friend) but it is now.

Given his hate of Funk over being ousted by him from Bgwiki control, I question the real reason this thread was made when anyone else would have given Funk the respect and not done this. Instead waiting till he made (or not) the thread himself.

Anyone that thinks Spicy would just walk away from XI and editing BGwiki doesn't understand how his mind works, he also has a well known burning desire to take over things and worm his way into positions of control. He tried numerous times to take over ffxi reddit.

I'm all for letting things go and giving people a 2nd chance, but not when he starts going back to old patterns. He is very good at manipulating people and saying things in a way that sound good, but I can see how he operates.

Radial is 100% mentally unstable to even think Hya is Spicy for a second. Anyone who has actually played with both of them would notice instantly they are nothing alike since Hya is actually a nice helpful dude and Spicy is... well we all know.
Seems even after quitting years ago Spicy still lives rent free in your head Radial. So much that anyone uploading/updating BG in any way MUST be Spicy? Please seek help.

I'm just going to throw in another confirmation that Hya isn't Spicy. They're definitely not the same.

To be clear, I'm specifically talking about the person who posts on here and Discord among other places. That is Spicyryan.

I have no idea about in the game, other than they are very close friends and have been for 15+ years.

And I am also being clear. I know Hya in game. We group together for pickup limbus occasionally and cross paths for various other content. We've discussed warrior stuff in game... even talked about the very same posts he made on the warrior forms here. I still remember it from a couple months back. He posted something on these forms (the one you're saying is NOT him, as in the OP of this thread) and we discussed that post and related stuff IN GAME a week or two later.

The Hya in game is not Spicy, and is the same Hya making posts on ffxiah right here. They are not the same. You'll have to take our word for it radial. There are half a dozen people posting in this thread who also play on asura and know him on some level. I have no reason to make this up. You're just wrong.

Remember when this dude was banned for constantly trolling? Whatever happened to those peaceful days? Anyways, still looking for verification on augments for some of the less obvious non-shield/grip weapons if anyone has hated themselves enough to waste their shards and matters on them this week. Also want to verify my assumption that every augment tier requires an Auge Scintistone if possible.

That’s actually my fault. There was a typo since it was introduced in 2013 bothering me with two periods after Lv. (Lv..) so I submitted a bug report which was accepted in May and instead they did that. The Item IDs for Bug-Ridden Broth and Divinator are just next to one another (21451, 21452) so they copy/pasted into the wrong line and went live with it.

Previous time I submitted one was for the Adoulin Worn Sack of […] text printing over the new Alt Icon for a year after it was introduced, which they did fix earlier this spring by hyphenating them. So I figured maybe they’d look at this smaller stuff too.

If I’m feeling motivated, I’ll submit the Linkshell Concierge missing a line break < br > element and popping out of the text box or maybe they’ll make it worse somehow? lol

Idk why the dogpile, its not unheard of for people to use sock accounts. Not saying this person is him, but I think people here don't remember the depths this guy can go. He is seriously the arch-villain of FFXI, despite his many contributions (which were appreciated, a shame tho what he became) he is seriously capable of anything. Be careful of every and any sock account!

That said, Radial is not mentally ill, hes def one of the more level headed posters who typically has good opinions.

Cause you are stepping on the toes of the person that has always done it for many years, and decreasing the chance of him doing it in future by your action. Which you obviously knew, which is why you decided to do it.

Tbf I think the odds of this getting fixed are 0%. There isn't a problem with that specific NPC, but line wrapping in that kind of menu with user-defined window widths. As hard as it is to get them to change Lv.. to Lv., getting them to fix something both fundamental and cosmetic is going to be a million times harder. You could throw it on their backlog in case they ever decide to increase the size of the ffxi dev team 100x, but I would bet a lot that this never gets done.
