Hi friends,

Me and an awesome dude named Frodobald made Hivemind, a Windower 4 addon for multiboxers that shares /tells across all your characters.

If you run multiple characters, you've probably missed tells because they came in on a window you weren't looking at. Hivemind fixes this; when any character gets a tell, every other character running Hivemind sees it too. Same goes for outgoing tells, so you always know what's going on across all your characters without alt-tabbing.

It also shares Linkshell 1 and Linkshell 2 chat across all characters. If multiple characters are in the same linkshell, it deduplicates automatically so you don't see the same message twice.

Quickly Reply

Pressing Alt+R or Alt+L will allow you to quickly reply to recent /tell's or /linkshell chat you received from any character using the send addon.

Multiple presses of Alt+R or Alt+L cycle through the last 12 people who messaged you (or spoke in LS1 or LS2).

Example:

You're on CharacterA, but SomeGuy sends a tell to your other character CharacterB. On CharacterA's screen you see:
Code
[CharacterB] SomeGuy >> Hey, want to talk about using 3rd party addons in /yell?

Press Alt+R on CharacterA and your chat fills in:
Code
//send CharacterB /tell SomeGuy

Type your reply and hit enter.

Cheers!

Side note:
Credit to Rubenator for introducing me to IPC in windower. It made the functionality of this addon much cleaner.

So if all 6 of your characters have 2 unique LS's each, how would it display 12 separate LS's?

Hey Dex,

Each message is tagged with the character name and which linkshell it came from. Assuming you were on CharacterE, it'd look something like:
Code
[CharacterA][LS1] SomeDude: Anyone need Ambuscade?
[CharacterB][LS2] SomeGal: Why do you always make me play support?
[CharacterC][LS1] SomeMidget: God I hate Taru's
[CharacterD][LS2] SomeChad: They need male mithra's
...

You can always tell which character and which shell the message came from. When you press Alt+L it cycles through them starting with the most recently active, so the shell you probably want to reply to comes up first.

You can also turn on/off Linkshell chat per character with the following commands:

Commands:
//hivemind linkshell on — Enable linkshell monitoring (saved per character)

//hivemind linkshell off — Disable linkshell monitoring (saved per character)
