We are currently working on a lore book for FFXI. This will cover all the lore, cutscenes and storylines from the Base Game to Chains of Promathia.

To supplement the information given in-game, several official online lore sources as well as lore books only released in Japan are also being referenced for this project. These sources include:
-The Game Itself
-Vana’diel Tribune
-Official Site
Life in Vana’diel Encyclopedia (JP only)
Final Fantasy XI Story Ultimania (JP only)
The 10th Anniversary Lightning Brigade Encyclopedia (JP only)

Help Needed:
If you are interested in helping with this project, we could always use the extra help! This includes:

-Proof Readers - More people to look over each no page after it’s finished.
-Writers - Nothing complicated, just short first-draft summaries on various topics.
-Photos - We need a lot of photos of different zones.

Since we first announced the book we've had a ton of set backs, primarily due to unforeseen circumstances. But we're still making good progress on the book. Despite the big delays, we are nearly 100 pages into the book and I think it will measure in around 350 pages. We've also got a bunch more pages written, but the editing hasn't been done yet.

Help Needed:
If anyone is interested, we could still really use more writers, screenshot submissions, and artists.
