I haven't read too much on the fomor NMs pre-patch, but I noticed similar behavior on PLD. Sentinel didn't do anything. Neither did blocks. Didn't see any difference with low or high Defense. Rampart helped slightly, as did DT. However, I did not see a change specifically using PDT (expected based on Sentinel results) or MDT. Is it possible the auto attacks are breath damage? Or some other sort of non-elemental damage?

Because fomors behaved the same way as them and came before. Hence it possibly being intended

Or i guess mannequins, i just call em fomors

was dynamis - beaucedine around prior to adamantoise? i thought it was the other way around. not gonna look through the history page for that stuff. so fine.
Regardless, it's not as if it was common knowledge that those 4 mob types behave similarly (which i'm still doubtful about).

Im not saying the mob types do, its just some kind of limbus specific mechanic that has the NMs(of which we only had the fomors and now these guys) seem to have spirit type dmg on AAs and in fomor case WS as well, unsure about it applying to worm/mantis etc tp moves. Im assuming U/O + adds will behave similarly

tbf im also doubtful its intended at least to the level that it ignores block/pdt entirely, but its also a silly enough way to counter that and make counter/eva/blink tanking more reliable a method

It happened before.. and SE patched it before. It was not intended.

Resolved issues.
Quote:
The issue in Limbus wherein the player still took some damage upon being attacked by certain notorious monsters, even when the player was invincible.
Now, in this case this was only them patching the issue for Invincible, but to my mind it introduces a lot of room for this to all be bugged as ***when something that major is going on. Hopefully they'll address it all and not just invincible/sentinel related issues this time.

I was just a part of wave2 clear in Apollyon and I enjoyed it a lot. Required on the spot adaptation. There was initial chaos with the Wyrm. It flew in the air at 80% and started to kill everyone with Cyclone Wing. Mischief took it on the side and we focused on Dvergr, it was pretty easy, but Paralyze and Curse was annoying.

Vampyr was a problem when he was on the lose (Mischief bound it at start, but some JP guys hit it). Wings of Gehenna is a big problem if it hits many people including healers. Stun is very long. I haven't noticed Dread Spikes, but maybe we were lucky. It charmed someone I think and otherwise went down fast after it was properly tanked by PLD (Tappo).

Wyrm (Vrtra model) finally went back down and we were able to zerg it all the way without any more air time. Cyclone Wing was still annoying even with double carol.

I gave Mischief all the info I noticed during the fight, so maybe he will make some more detailed post later (he killed wave 2 Temenos too).

Limbus T2 NMs:

Everything moves at greatly enhanced movement speeds, but Bind lands on everything without issue by a geared RDM. Since they can all link with each other from across the entire zone, binding two and focusing one is the best way to handle them without an insane amount of deaths. A well-supported tank can also handle one in a corner if you can keep the other two off of them. Their auto attacks hit for 800-900 per hit regardless of defenses, and they use a TP move every ~15-20 seconds no matter how much TP they should have. Evasion tanking can still kind of work, but the threshold is much higher (RUN needed SV Mambos and Blind II to evade consistently) and they all have elemental attacks anyway. Shadow tanking with NIN might work better. If you focus one at a time, they'll fall pretty quickly if they're being properly tanked and the other two NMs are being held off. If the other two (or all three) are running around freely, you're going to die very quickly regardless of job or buffs.

Temenos:

Apollyon:

TL;DR Bind/tank two in a corner, kill the third, have Poison Potions/DoT gear ready for Wyrm. The hardest part by far is getting everything controlled without mass deaths. Not sure how feasible it's going to be to kill these NMs after the initial hype dies down, especially for lower pop servers...

Omega/Ultima require all 22 fomor NMs to die, 250 chest openings, and 2 ??? spawns. Time to finally figure out what exactly spawns Temenos' ??? I guess!

Am I just not awake yet, or maybe I'm overthinking, but did SE release content that will not be properly usable for two, maybe even three, months?

Were currently on blue boxes here and I know we had all the NM's killed before the 4 week rollover.

Posting what I know:
Condition 1 I think is tied to the opening of the chest in Both zones, this was the slowest objective to be completed on Sylph.

Condition 2 i believe for both zones is tied to the death of NM's and the ??? spawn.

Condition 4 in Temenos specifically was tied to the killing of Pixie's. A JP tweet posted about it. Found it true on Sylph. Only the east wing pixies were killed not Central so don't know if any pixie set counted.

Sylph has not seen anything other than the first group, which are at present, undeafeated.

On the NM's:
Legion style pulling, (Pull one, all will move to where the first was pulled.)
True Sight, True Sound, 29" Agro distance.
Their HP does not regen. (As expected honestly)

Set one of NM's by zone are:

Set two: As seen from JP Twitter.

Edit: Seems i got Set two correct from posts here.

Doubt it. It's probably the same thing as last time: people misunderstanding the graphic because the colors/design is awful.

My prediction:
Only the last 4 weeks' result affects the chest.
If you killed W1 only, you get a Brown/gold chest.
If you killed W2 also, you get the Red chest.
If you killed W3, you get the Gold chest.
In the picture, this is the green box "total defeated", and the green box "treasure chest upgrade"

Then 4 weeks later, the same thing is evaluated. This is the blue boxes in the graphic.

Then 4 weeks later, the same thing is evaluated. This is the red boxes in the graphic.
