Windower Broke

I'm sure this is just a temporary issue, but the windower site is also down at the moment. Either that or extremely congested. My problem is basically a program error that shuts down the game upon the window launch. Much like an Illegal Operation. This has happened before after updates but you can usually easily tell which plugin is causing the crash. This time I'm unable to tell. Anyone else figured out the temporary fix for this yet? Please do tell.

Recast is temporarily borked, website is probably down due to congestion. Disable Recast loading on startup in your init.txt file and you should be fine.

If you dont hit "ok" the error that comes up, but just drags it down to a corner you can still play, just without the recast timers showing LoL

Crashes on Vista. Once you get the error you can't select the screen :/

Either way I've resolved the issue with removing recast from the .ini

Yeah, I use Vista myself, and removing Recast fixed the issue.

Ty vm for the advice ^^ I tryed to //recast but still crash at start, damn!

Delete all files connecting to Recast and disable distance too ! I had crashes with "Distance" and after i disabled it all works fine!

I heard it's also expwatch that's crashing as well.

went into the folder plugins and deleted recast files (saved them somewheres else in case) works now :)

Deactivate recast in autoload. Post about it in the official forums.
