Why did this video says living in mom's basement with no wife, no job, no kid is "biggest don't do" in life?

I thought this kind of life feels.....relaxing no? Very little family responsibility and mortgage/rent that *** you up from wanting to do whatever you want.....

My mother barely thinks about her future. She probably is implicitly believing I will handle all living costs once she retires.

So yes, unless you have a rich family, if none cares about who gonna do work in the future, everyone will die in poverty, and i deeply despise poverty.

I would pretty much just be dead than being (too) poor.

But second to the financial issues, lack of perspectives is an easy ticket to depressionville

In that case, it's a "don't do" for people who can't afford it. But not really a bad choice for people who can.

There is a lot of benefit from not needing to pay for rent/mortgage/kids etc. Mostly you have extra free time and money to spend on personal hobby because you can retire early.

Google lean FIRE, it's basically a life style that spend as little as possible, put all the money on passive income assets, so one can retire early and be free from working, while accomplish whatever they want in life.

Having kids/mortgage/rent etc will make lean FIRE much harder to accomplish at early age. Such extra spending will create a large hole in your pocket.

It's not the life choice for everybody. But it is not an inherently a worse lifestyle. It's one life choice out of many.

I know plenty of people who retired at 35-40, only because they have no extra financial burdens like kids or mortgage. They can retire early only because they did all the "don't do" from this video.

Despite being in a regret list, I cant help but feel interested in Dai game.

I will surely buy it because I always loved the story.

Maybe I can have a better experience with it than the guy.

One of the problems with old technology being replaced with a new one, is all the institutional knowledge is slowly lost over the following years. Then when there is a desire to go back, they can no longer go back because nobody can do it at the same level anymore.

Physical movie effects were replaced with computer graphics, then years later there has been a desire to go back (for example for the Thing 2) and offer physical movie effects. Every time they try it's garbage, it just cannot be done to the same level of quality anymore.

It's a lost art.

Same applies for Anime, the original Anime was created in a painstaking method with hand drawn artwork. Then they went into computer work, and now they can't make the old style anymore cause there is simple nobody that can do it to the same standard.

It's not even a case where they can just hire the people who used to do it, since they are perishable skills that are lost if you don't continue to practice it.

This is why it sucks the movie and video game industries are producing such garbage now, due to ideology and hiring people who are incompetent. They think that when this phase is over they can just go back to making good movies and games again, but that's not how people work.

Probably its more a matter of cost and productivity.

But anyway, I still love the 80/90s anime style

It was hard to find the full performance, probably because of copyrights.

Only found this garbage quality video, that I had to slow down to 0.2x speed to watch it in kinda normal speed.

Ray performance wasnt that bad, but the opponent was natural.

Rays clothes also felt like she was some coaching instead of competidor.

At first, I thought she was some staff member that got high and went overboard.

Ray is also a beatiful woman, but those clothes really made he like a some random aunt over there.
