Anyone help me out here. I've been using the guides and gearsets here but my sanguine blades aren't hitting as high as I'd like them to. I think my max in sortie on puddings and acuex' is 40k. Normally about 26k. EPing on Colibri, I do about 17.8k at 1000% TP.

Couldn't get the weapons to list correctly, CM is in main slot and DB is in sub.

You are missing:
Bunzi's Rod
Regal Earring
Nyame Body and Legs
Metamorph or Epam ring (instead of Acumen)
Orpheus's sash
Cape should be 30MND and 10WSD not 30INT and 10MAB

Those changes assuming r30bunzi and r25Nyame would boost damage by ~36%.

Cornelia's Ring from the finish of TVR is good for magical WSD generically.

Will slightly depend on the rest of the gear and potentially buffs, but around rank 6.

It's 15mnd/15int against 30mnd.
1 INT adds 2 base damage
1 MND with 25Crocea adds 2.75 base damage
So 15 MND adds 11.25 more damage
Bunzi's has 7 more magic damage tho, so Daybreak advantage is only ~4 base damage.

Total base damage is at like 3000+, so 4base damage is only really like +0.13%, while 1MAB is +0.25%

Based on the simulator that is being circulated in this forum it seems you are right.

Assuming other gears are BIS and GEO potency -50%, Bunzi beats Daybreak by about 1000 damages at R15 and increases this difference by about 600 damages every 5 ranks. Extrapolating this, Bunzi should indeed pull ahead by around ranks 6-7.

I could not resist my own curiosity so I manually created Bunzi ranks 5, 6 and 7 in the gear.py file of the simulator. Based on the simulation results, Bunzi indeed beats Daybreak at rank 6.
