You both go jobs that can kill quickly without engaging, have movement speed, and have easy access to sneak/invis (e.g. BLU/DNC, COR/DNC, BLM/RDM).
Personally, I like using BST/DNC the most, with my alt on COR or BRD on lamp duty (also tossing out a movement speed+ buff at start of applicable floors). Dualbox it when I just feel like jumping in and getting some points, but ideally bringing another 1-2 real players.
BST things:
- Chapuli pet can AoE 1-shot almost anything in Nyzul including bosses. Ideally, on something like a kill all floor just aggro and round up a bunch at once and a Tegmina Buffet will take care of them all.
- You don't need to engage any mobs so that saves time (similar to casters or Quick Draw)
- No weird exceptions like Puks being healed by Subduction (or BLU in general needing multiple casts on a lot of mobs that BST can 1-shot)
- BST has the neat little perk that if you do have movement speed buffs on, you don't lose it if the pet does the damage for you - so as long as you don't get aggroed and attacked, you can keep 60% movement speed up a good bit of the time.
- I even sometimes like to use Stay on my pet on Order lamp floors to make it stand at a lamp as a placeholder to remind me which lamp is which when I'm running around and responsible for both.
I don't mind the 10% token reduction from adding a 4th party member, since the extra person generally should make up the difference with faster progress. If adding a 4th member means you can clear ~3 more floors than you would with a party of 3, that's generally enough to offset the 10% token loss. Should be able to manage that with quicker clears of large kill all floors, much easier and faster order lamp management, spreading out to take out family/specified mobs...
Without factoring in port up cost and badge bonus, 20k token reward involves pushing all the way to floor 141 with 3 chars.
You're not doing 45 floors on average come the *** on man the math aint mathing. I'm not saying its impossible to hit, but that will take a lot of "specified enemy", "code lamp", 2 "specified enemies" next to each other and no "avoid gears", "5 order lamp", that one big map thats like 30 rooms large.
^^^ Yeah this for sure. Absolutely nobody playing anywhere close to legit is pulling in 20k+ tokens a trio run on a regular basis. Either some big time exaggeration, or some big time cheating (you clipping through the entire zone, bro?)
