Chat Log Font Change

anyone know or have dats that would change the chat log?

seems any dat mods hostings are dead.

set font quality to low and use any of the xiview mods

icon type 2? or is that something else?

In the config program before you launch xi, font quality low uses xiview mod font. I prefer the system font but some like it.

that fixed my issue. set it to higher quality and set it back to lowest.

random, but my chatlog font won't change - my nameplates and ui font are both changed but even with text set to uncompressed (both in ffxiconfig and ashita config setting) i am not having any luck. could pivot somehow be messing w this? not a huge deal but i do def prefer swapping the font, and i dont want to use the changetex program in case that will interact w pivot/etc

Those files load before xipivot loads.

The fonts don't change as such, they just use higher or lower res fonts. If you have font problems it's often an issue with dgvoodoo being setup wrong, and it applying anti aliasing to the fonts and making them look bad.

On Windower, yes. They specifically mentioned Ashita, and Pivot exists before XI does on Ashita so it can replace pretty much everything.

Make sure your pivot layers aren't replacing the same dats. Or, just make a new pivot layer for the font and make sure it's highest priority.

Was likely this... or the 51dat I was using was just for menu/nameplates... I downloaded Caradog XIView from Nov'23 and just used that in addition to the condensed font 51dat posted here and after I messed around a bit, I was able to figure out a loading order in which everything works still. Thank you for the help!

I also went back and double-checked my dgvoodoo/proxy was working correctly as well, so I appreciate the tips!
