The sources of crit? Outside of traits/gear it was just Blood Rage, no rogues or anything else.

dDex is real, I need to know the +Crit from gear only, along with any TA / QA / DA / DA Damage you happen to have. I'm assuming Yetshila +1 is used?

I need this so that when I construct the DA set I can have the same non-gear crit values (80 - <gear set 1 crit> + <gear set 2 crit>).

When I do comparisons I tend to use just what's directly available in job + gear as worst case scenario. You can exaggerate values by adding to one set without adding to the other set, especially if playing with shitty parses like scoreboard.

Use these then:

100% Double Attack (assume 3 merits in DA so you can use pants)

ItemSet 389373

Crit

ItemSet 389371

Ok real build from gear I already had, but adding V30 ody augs (can also do with V25 if someone wants).

ItemSet 389374

Can replace one ring with anything you want but I always assume my target is trying just as hard to kill me as I am to kill it.

QA 3
DA 98
DADMG: 46

4.0 * 0.03 = 0.12 (QA damage contribution)
2.92 * 0.9506 = 2.7757 (DA damage contribution)
1 * 0.0194 = 0.0194 (SA damage contribution)
2.9151 MA damage multiplier

Crit: 31% (base, 46 at dDex 50)
CHD: 37%

1.7399 * 0.46 = 0.800354 (dDex 50)
1.0 * 0.54 = 0.54
1.3403 Crit Multiplier

1.7399 * 0.31 = 0.539369 (dDex 0)
1.0 * 0.69 = 0.69
1.2293 Crit Multiplier

100 * 2.0 * 2.9151 * 1.3403 = 781.4, +681.4% melee damage
100 * 2.0 * 2.9151 * 1.2293 = 716.7, +616.7% melee damage

It's a matter of pulling from both stats. Crit, while having less value then MA, still has value.

Yes, but I think the question now is, where is that crit value realized more, pre or post 100% DA? If DA > Crit as a stat priority, then I wouldn't be worrying about crit at all until I've satisfied the DA cap, no?

As you've illustrated, there's no scenario where crit beats DA as a stat weight, at least not achievable by current game mechs/gear/traits/buffs/etc.

It's a balance, 1% DA will beat 1% crit, but 10% crit might beat 1% DA. Weapon skills also exist, while not the focus of the build, damage is still pulled from them and DA contributes to WS speed. You end up playing with numbers until one set shakes out better. The one I posted is the better one I've found so far. The important part is to not go down the rabbit hole of BNS (Big Numbers Syndrome).

This is mostly bis set and was posted here few times, but assuming you have enough attack you can marginally improve dps here (especially with +1 earring) and massively improve FUN (at least for me :P) by using Boii Cuisses +3. It pushes DA to 100% and 10%PDL beats 11%DA damage in this set. The marginal dps gain probably wouldn't be worth it tho, but the biggest change here is you will have 2x Boii pieces and you will proc set bonus and nothing is more fun than to see set proc + am3 proc + crit proc at the same hit :) Bonus points for higher def,vit and meva on Boii too.

The only reason I still play the game (I'm ok if that makes me a bad player)

I just tossed them in to play with, you're right, seeing about 500-800 more dmg on AM3 crit swings over relic +3. 13.3k on Locus.

If your capped attack then yes they are a little better then relic, if you aren't capped attack then the DA Damage might be better.

Difference is simple, 1.46/1.35 = 8.14% increase in DA damage contribution, while the PDL 10 is 10~12% increase.
