Huh? It's the same as any other weapon combo.

Crepuscular Knife is worse than Gelti if attack is uncapped, so I guess eat some food that boosts attack.

For example should I be using Balder’s Earring +1?

Crepuscular is probably better than R0 gletis but it's definitely worse than R20 gletis with uncapped attack. The breaking point where one overtakes the other is hard to determine and also depends on other buffs and variables, but that's the generality. The two are very similar in performance no matter how you slice it.

I'm not sure why's Balder’s Earring +1 is brought up, because I don't remember I ever recommend it. I even went back to the guide and made sure it wasn't in it. ;/

But yeah, it's a 70m earring that consistently lose to dedition 90% of time depending on sam roll values. Even during single wield when 2nd ear isn't suppa it still frequently lose to brutal depending on sam roll values.

And when it finally win because Sam roll value somehow hits that magical number, it's like 20 DPS ahead...

I'd rather donate my gil to returning player or spend them on hq food for better DPS than paying 70m for that earring lol.

If there is one thing that "change" with Crepuscular Knife, it's probably the WS set. Since Crepuscular Knife is best used in attack capped situations, your body/ring in SB set should be swapped out for pdl+.

My standard melee set (usually Rostam Path A/Crep. Knife):

ItemSet 395926

This assumes /NIN or /DNC. You can obviously trade out pieces according to your needs. This gets me rapid TP with Cornelia, Arcelia I, SAM and Blitzer's Rolls.

Blitzer's Roll is doing nothing in that circumstance besides lowering your TP gain per hit. You're already at minimum delay with that much dual wield and capped haste with either subjob (/DNC needs either Haste Samba, DW cape; reiki yotai doesn't quite cap but is close enough).

/NIN with that gear: 20.3% delay remaining
/DNC with that gear and Haste Samba: 20% delay remaining
/DNC with that gear and DW cape: 20.3% delay remaining
/DNC with that gear and Reiki Yotai: 21.2% delay remaining
/DNC with just that gear: 26.6% delay remaining, so even in the worst case scenario Blitzer's is costing you TP/hit

I'd suggest Fighter's Roll or Misers/Wizards instead if your primary WS is Leaden.
