I have been looking for the Gravity II scroll for about a week now, killing in all the Legion zones many times over and have yet to see this. Is Legion and Meeble Burrows the only place you can get it? If so, which zone have people seen it drop in the most? Thank you.

JP wiki recommends VW Chapter 3 fights.

Thanks, I could give it a shot, tired of doing Legion repeatedly for nothing.

Yeah it feels pointless. Seems so rare, I'd rather wait for the VW campaign, although I ain't got many stones left. Wondering why SE made this scroll so rare to find.

Only place I've seen it drop was farming voidwatch during campaign as stated above. Last campaign I seem to think I got ~2-3 from the whale in Bibiki out of around 200 stones.

Isn't so much that they made it rare, as they balanced it for people doing voidwatch and legion. It was dirt cheap and readily available until the contents went away, even with the droprate as is.

Probably should just throw all the voidwatch/legion/woe scrolls on a NPC at this point, tbh.

Totally agree, on some of the smaller servers finding these things on the AH is super rare, because 99% of people who do Voidwatch/Legion/WOE won't realise their value and NPC them.

Small correction, it's not that they don't see the value, it's that they don't have an AH slot to burn on something that sells once a month

50k and it sells once a week, if one is up, that's not worth an AH slot

Sidenote, why the *** is it a mil on asura, the hell is wrong with you people.

Can see the creep up, if there are none up and someone needs it they're not going to go farm for 12 hours like Kylos, they'll drop the 1M. 10 up now though, I'm sure it's on the way back down.

Yes that's only on Asura though, almost every other server has 0 in stock, but Gravity II is a spell any RDM would much rather spend 1m on than farming forever in Legion or VW.

....why? What are you even casting it on.

Aside from the current ambuscade and the frog ambuscade.

If bg is correct, it's 6% movement difference from Gravity I that's not worth 1g, let alone 400k and certainly not 1m (sure, 50k)

Sabateur Grav I is like 60 and grav II is 80 that's fundamentally no different.

Noticable, yes. Makes a difference, no. 20% slower, 80% slower, slower is slower. it can't run away.

The same reason Nicander's Necklace jumped from 1m to like 7m in less than a month. Or Handshard:PLD jumped to more than 3x the cost of Beastmen medals: Things only become valuable on Asura when people need them. Or until people think they need them. You can try waiting the price out, or farming it yourself, but you're just punishing yourself for that.

There has never not been a time when Asura hasn't jumped all over an item simply because someone says "this strat works, you need x item/gear". Every single time

Anyway my guy, I know first hand that grav 1 vs 2 is not "6%" ive had em both in ambu, so bg wiki is wrong or the smn is on some steroids

Suggesting you don't need grav 2 to achieve your goals is the opposite of gatekeeping...

Like I said, it's more for completion sake. Forgot about the spell til this month, then I farmed for it and noticed how rare it is. It's not breaking any ambuscade runs or whatever, but it would still be nice to have.

Just tested Gravity and Gravity II using Absorbing Shield and the Speedchecker addon; 26% and 32% are indeed correct.

(Base) + (~54% BiS effect gear) + 37% NM Saboteur

26% + 13% + (14%) -53% Grav
32% + 16% + (17%) -65% Grav 2

SMN runs at 125% (or so)

Yeah? So 12% difference?

Just as a random aside, Gravity does not have a cap, meaning if you get -100% on a mob, it just basically has a multiple minute bind that can't be broken by damage.

Due to the Saboteur NM nerf, it's only reachable on non-NMs or mobs that are natively slower than normal, though.

Too bad we don't get "Blue Magic Spell Effect +" gear. Would be perfect for Subduction.

Not just subduction but it would literally open up so many new strategies for BLU by letting us make use of our old spells, I'm dying for them to add that. Ideally the best place would be on the AF3+3 but there isn't much traction going on for the idea aside from myself, so they probably not going to think of it.

They make random decisions nobody really sees coming. You just never know, I wouldn't put it past them to do something unique like that for BLU.

Ambu weapons were strangely introduced with the reasoning that it was hard for newer players to get high level weapons(?). The end result was some of the items are better than REMA weapons when used appropriately. They also, seemingly out of nowhere, gave us Hover Shot when nobody at least on the NA side ever suggested such a thing. Then they have really cool items like Yagyu Darkblade and the other Bonanza weapons where they put some unique stats on stuff you never would have imagined.

really...

We should all go to the forums, I done it a few times but that place is dead. Its one of the biggest thing that put RDM back on the map was those gear enhancements to enfeebles. We need to organize like people did to nerf BST.
