This was CRAZY when I found out yesterday because I had actually JUST been thinking about him ten minutes before I found out.

I have been dipping into my old games lately and was doing a full 100% complete of 'Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2' for PC. For those that don't know it, it's a real time strategy game.

Anyhoo, they have a spy unit and every unit in the game has several unique audio cues when you select them to have them do something. The spy units in RA2 have a Scottish accent and I was all: Oh. They are referencing James Bond there because of Sean Connery's accent. That is clever.

Not ten minutes later, I'm looking up something about a bug with getting scrolling locked sometimes in RA2 and so I alt-tab out of the game to do so. When I bring up my internet browser, I see the news that Sean Connery died.

I did not think I would have a story about Sean Connery beyond the generic things listed in the above posts, but yeah. How often does a random person think about any random movie star and then within ten minutes, random person finds out random movie person died that day. AND it is Halloween. Oooooh~~~ Spooky.

I thought I'd share.
