Not saying Rooks couldn't make an interm patch trying compare closely matching shouts but it really is a vanilla client issue. I don’t mind the unload guildwork plugin crash, but the crashing of the game when multiboxing is intolerable. Is this related to the shoutbox everyone is mentioning?

The "crashing" can occur even on a single instance and has happened for most of the past year to random people. Unless I'm entirely mistaken. It's hard to tell exactly what scenario enables it, I personally can't replicate it either.

I'm going to be honest, I use guildwork and run multiple instances and I actually have not run in to any issues in a long time. I did hear recently some of my friends are encountering issues with crashing since the last patch or so.

I moved servers and now can’t see my characters stats on ah. But I think guildwork found it fine.
Did you resync your character on ffxiah?

Only thing I can see is that it's causing errors with another plugin or addon. Edit: I turned off the Shout injection in the guildwork settings on the guildwork.com and the constant flooding and duplicating of shout messages have stopped. Just as with your friend, the problems have started recently after a patch. Sent you a pm with the list of addons and plugins which are active, if you would be so kind to compare them to yours and tell me which you are not running. CHATMON FFXIDB Weathermon I turned these off and did not experience any crashes anymore! Chatmon is probably the culprit, conflicting with the guildwork plugin concerning chat messages. Thank you Rooks!

I mean I guess if you have the game muted anyway it makes sense. I should probably turn it off for the alts now that I think about it. I had a problem with guildwork like once, unloaded it, and don't think it was an issue anymore,I know I use it on at least my main and I definitely run chatmon on him. /shrug Honestly surprised half of anything works eith so many custom addons. |
