The Canadian court issued it’s final ruling in favor of the Dismissal motion that was filed in May 2019 by Dr Tim Ball’s libel lawyers.
This is the only sentence in nausi's entire blog that has any relevance. Ball asked the court to dismiss the case in May 2019. His motivations really don't matter, whether or not it was his health, he was unhappy Mann was dragging the case out, all that matters is Ball wanted the case to end.
The BC Court agreed to dismiss the case. It did not make any ruling in regards to the merits of the case. Mann did not lose, Ball did not win. Judging by his statements on the matter, its unclear if Mann is happy with this decision, it seems like he may have wanted the case to continue and a judgement actually be issued. In other words, he wanted to win outright, He can appeal the dismissal ruling if he wants to in order to seek an actual ruling in favor or against him.
Whats completely unclear is what Ball was talking about when he claimed the court awarded him costs. Mann has denied he has to pay Ball's legal fees, which would make sense, since Ball asked the court to stop the case before a final ruling.
