Finally Getting A FFXI Tattoo At 35yo

I haven't seen one that has the entire group of avatars, but I had this scroll a while back and I liked it:

You're going to have to commission one. That is the best route. Tattoo is forever(*) pick an artist that you like and have them design it.

I have my upper body covered with Japanese on one side and star wars on the other. I'm in force in the flesh vol. 2 and have been in the local paper and a magazine because of my artist. My advice, consult and don't go cheap. Never judge a tattoo artist by what he or she puts on paper. Only focus on actual skin work because skin and paper are much different, obviously. The good artists are $150 an hour up to $200. My artist was on TV and is a well known star wars guy. Never pay upfront because some artists are scumbags. Leave a deposit though and tip 10%.

BTW, as a career smn, here is one I'm considering.

If you think about it seriously, I believe it should be done with a professional tattoo artist since you waited so long.

If you’re in the states and in close proximity to LA, you should definitely ask this amazing artist to do your tattoo: Dr Woo... I’ve done 7 tattoos with him when I was visiting, and they’re perfect.

I will try to allocate time to do a sketch that got all the Summons and send it to you~ I also think Afania or Shiggles can help with it.

You can also do each one separately, it will save the time to think about a composition that got them all. And there are many beautiful sketches on the web for each one, especially the Japanese ones.

Best bet would be using Altana Viewer to play the animations of the Avatars, and select a good frame from each one.

Your friend should be able to compile those cleanly together into something professional. Just make sure the screenshots you clip are high res and dont have any distorting.

Could potentially also just start with 1 avatar and then slowly over time add more and more to it, spreading the tattoo out.

In which case I'd start with our lovely carbuncle.

Depends where you are getting it. If you do a Sleeve then yeah, the typical plan is to slowly build on it over several years, adding more and more pieces.

My whole left arm sleeve is a summoner sleeve it has all the avatars starting with bahamut up on my shoulder with carbuncle down on my wrist with all others in between. I all have there respective elements as backgrounds with them when I get off work I will post it

I have Leviathan wrapping around me going from my right chest, across my shoulders/back of my neck, to my left ribs and an Ifrit/Frank the Bunny mash-up on my right calf (why r u wearing that stoopid adventurer suit?). Theres plenty of nerds like us here. Do you and love it.

ive always wanted my elvaan rdm in AF down my arm, holding a joyeuse and oldschool darksteel buckler looking shield. dont even know where to begin to get this drawn though lol

If you are DRK, you can save some money and just cut yourself
