Freydis, or if you have a SCH in your your party to give u a perp-ed out Phalanx (and a phalanx set for WAR) Deacon Sword is the ultimate in damage reduction.

one option is Mafic Cudgel for alot -pdt and can pump out some impressive judgement numbers while freeing up other pdt- slots for multihit accessories

Is Warrior tanking really a thing or is it just DDing in max -DT gear like its always been? I often lurk to see what's new in the game and how the jobs change over the years. Haven't played in awhile

It’s more of a backup tank. WAR basically can get very high DT Acc and HP and hold hate by Damage + Provoke. So it works in a pinch if your tank dies or something but RUN does the same thing but much better..

It *can* work but I wouldn’t try building a strategy around it imo
