And now apparently foreign nationals (that's the legal world for people not from your country) now think they have Constitutional rights outside the USA. Democrats are funding a lawsuit against the US President in the name of several of those invaders claiming their rights were being infringed upon.
I think it's about how they can't refuse them to apply for asylum? Otherwise I'm not too sure what the yare referring to.
Do more research.
They are claiming their right to due process is being infringed upon by the US President saying they will need to apply for asylum at lawful ports of entry.
Thing is, they don't have any right to due process just like you have no right to due process. A person must be within US jurisdiction to have Constitutional rights. The US Constitution extends to the border of the USA not beyond, it doesn't apply in Mexico, doesn't apply in Canada and doesn't apply in the UK or China. Congress has long since placed the power of immigration policy in the hands of the US President.
This is just a ploy to buy time, they will attempt to shop for a liberal judge to drag it out and buy time for the invaders to disperse and hide.
See this is how immigration works in the USA, when someone apply's for asylum, for any reason, they are processed and then released to the public with the promise they'll show up for their court hearing. Most illegals ~never~ do and instead get fake ID's and vanish into the hordes of unlawful persons. When they are eventually caught, they declare they are still applying and it takes time to process that paperwork and so they are released again with the promise they would eventually show up in court, guess how many actually do. This is known as "catch and release", Democrats have taught the unlawful persons exactly what to say and when to say it to create that paperwork that would give them a chance to run away. By now their immigration case has worked it's way through the courts and they've been denied, when they are caught they are then held to be processed for deportation. They get kicked out, and then run across the border and start the process all over again.
Actual asylum seekers come from war torn countries, show up to their court hearings and work through the whole system to get residence status and eventually citizenship. Fake asylum seekers are from economically depressed nations that aren't at war and are looking for money to send back home, they don't show up to court hearings and don't want to work through the system because it would deny them anyway.
