The same multicultural reasoning that leads to white privilege and young people thinking the US is a racist country, leads to LOTR is racist.

it's every chapter in all of his books....

I couldn't stand all the multiple names....oh that's strider, he's the ranger of the north... but his real name is aragorn... but really it's Aragorn II, son of Arathorn, Aragorn is somebody else...no wait it's actually Aragorn II Elessar Telcontar son of Arathorn... but that's a secret so we'll call him Estel for a little while...and then Thorongil for no apparent reason but now his really real real name is he's King Elessar Telcontar because the first eighty six names I gave him weren't confusing enough already... *** it's let's call him Junior.

That is true too much detail in a book makes forget what the hell is going on fast. Just say a wooden table...I have an imagination.

I read the Hobbit and it was a chore...all I remember is them wondering around in the woods for days sorta like the Blair Witch Project...then they sing some songs...everyone is cheerful the end.

In my first job in high school I had a boss that was really into that Silmarillion crap. He tried to break it all down for me, and I just assumed he knew what he was talking about.

Cut to a decade later when I'm looking through wikis on the subject, and apparently my boss's interpretation wasn't even close to being right. Tolkien even had the uber nerds confused.

Difficult concepts are easily brushed off by the dim witted.

Young dumbasses have concluded that lack of equity across racial groups is an indication of racism. Often decrying white people as privileged because they collectively are more productive than pther groups when viewed very broadly.

This directly parallels Tolken’s universe where orcs live in an inequitable middle earth. Oppressed by the more producrive groups of men, dwarfs, elves, and to a lesser extent hobbits.

Yea but the movies trap you into watching the extended version every time, because there is no going back to the theatrical versions.

Doesn’t work like that. They use the democrat “one drop” rule.

Hey another ***pile of a lefty TV show got the axe today.

So long Murphy Brown! You weren’t edgy, you weren’t funny, in a time of cord cutting millenials, you still managed to set new record ratings embarrassment.

Too bad, so sad.

Possibly? It's up in the air at this point. It's not a complete bomb but it's not exactly doing stellar either. I still don't understand why you keep bringing it up.
