It's not unreasonable to think of it like logwatch.

Each noise is a raise in light, and thud a bigger raise. And while you can get a body with 0, odds improve with each one.

Interestingly, also saw a Makora Meikogai after getting 9 noises and exiting. Not sure if the 9 noise is a special case, but I would certainly think the Meikogai qualifies as a high quality drop.

I think you're right about glowy bodies qualifying as an HQ drop, because I just did a Venus orb: noise, noise, loud thud. Pool was:
Kubira Meikogai
Frayed sack of fecundity
Kaggen's cuticle
Sack of snowslit stones +1

(2 players in party, accounting for the 4 drops with 3 chests opened).EDIT: corrected, thanks!

The extra drop is from gold chest, party size means nothing, tried with 3 and 6, same results.

Venus orb, noise->thud->loud thud got 5mil, regal gauntlets, Yggdreant root, felistris mask and belladonna sap. One of my ls members hit a loud thud on first chest in a Venus orb as well and got Nisroch, this month trove put out for us, all I have been hitting before was mimic on first chest, or trash.

So this event removes the need to ever do Ou/Omen bosses. They only need to make Cards buy/sellable to completely void out any use for that event. Truly pathetic lololol

1 omen body in 258 runs. Yea, let me just quit Omen.

For a normal player doing RoE and buying orbs (3.5 mars a month), that's over 5 years to see a body. That's assuming you even get the body you want, considering Ou hands likely share the same loot slot and there are 5 bodies.

If I was unlucky, and typical rates are higher, it still serves to illustrate the ridiculous variance involved.

Or, you could get the body farming Omen in an average of ~3-4 months. 1% drops are HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE, omen isn't going anywhere, and this event is just a minor lottery. Stop getting your panties in a twist because every lucky person makes an account just to post their drop.

I've never seen an omen body in well over 300 runs. I don't want to risk exaggerating and say it's 400 but it probably is. Ladyofhonor has killed hundreds of Gin and never seen body too.

Yeah but then this happened:

So my COR has its body...

I've personally never seen a body drop in Omen, and aside from a few months of not being active, and a month or two of only being semi-active, I've been doing it since it came out. I'm poor now but I intend on keeping myself at 100mil just in case anyone gets an Ashera Harness and is willing to sell it from one of these BC's. 1% drops are HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE from "actual content".

From AMAN? But you said you killed 300 or 400 Gin, right?

I'm well over 200, very possibly over 300, I sure haven't been counting, that just makes it more depressing.

And yes, Nisroch was from AMAN. Tried to sell since I don't care for it THAT much (and I had a virtual paperweight to pay off) but person was too slow to get out there so I was stuck with it.

Mars orb (loud thud produced Annointed Kalasiris): https://ibb.co/j1C49z

Not all loud thuds produce gear! I think this one may have been a Venus orb, but don't remember (loud thud produced only moonbow leather): https://ibb.co/f219be

Could have been a piece of gear all three of you had, but unlikely. Might be Moonbow Leather, an omen drop maybe?

edit: No, there's a piece of Zitah Pulse gear. I got the same when I had a Loud Thud.

e: Oh, was misreading. Nevermind.

I haven't been keeping up on this thread. Are people successfully killing Mimic? I saw one video of some people winning, but haven't seen much since.

1 body in 500+ omen bosses, and It was the one I wanted. I no longer give facks about them dropping now, just funny we are clearly seeing more from aman than omen. In 3-4 months of farming, never seen one. How about one visible body drop since the event came out? That's pathetically lower than 1%

Second link shows loud thud but no gear. We suspected the loud thud produced the moonbow leather. Edited previous post to make it flow better.

I highly doubt that we will see very many mimic kills. The only point in fighting the mimic is if several loud thuds occurred, and loud thuds can potentially drop omen gear. So unless you get a loud thud, there is really no point to fighting the mimic. But since even a loud thud does not guarantee gear nor gil, people are even less likely to fight the mimic.

If your group can kill the mimic in 10-15 minutes, it seems reasonable to open boxes until you get a mimic. You're going to get more chances at gear this way.
