Does anyone have any idea how to make an installer to click on and for it to automatically copy and overwrite the mod files?
Some links for making installers, some may require scripting knowledge.

all of amelila's zones are kept at this link. He's taking a break but when he was updating he'd keep this up to date. Several zones got minor fixes months later.
All of them work great.
but, only in Southern Sandy he redid the inside of a few shops. The inside of stores are separate .dats loaded when you get near there. So you will get a lag spike running by them.

Of course the day I come in to try some of these mods out this happens, lol. A fix is in the works. Kireek said he has an archive of the mods.

I've spoken to him via Reddit and Scragg is seeing what he can do to reverse the account deletion which was the result of a "horrific bug"
I hope to have him restored as well as the OP (at the very least) back up soon.
The GDPR compliance deletion functions have been disabled for now till this mess is fixed, that said, if the button to delete is still showing up, I wouldn't try it out just in case Scragg missed something.

This is the file pack my shell has been using. Its one pack with all the HD Mods in thie thread, (monsters, armor, weapons, etc.), all of Amelila's HD zones, all moded Maps and Icons/HD Fonts (FFVision/FFveiw) with all the files pre-organized for 1 drag and drop.

I finally took the dive and downloaded the pack on the front page and copied it over. I've been meaning to since I came back.
Things look beautiful. but I'm having a rather annoying issue. My screen is blinking *a lot* when I'm running around. The blinking is akin to the fading that happens when you zone, though it goes back to full brightness after a little less than a second. After messing around with things for a bit, it appears to happen each time a model loads on screen, whether it's a mob, PC, or NPC. Reading through the OP, I'd think it may be the HP warp upgraded texture, but I have it happen even when I'm nowhere near (IE, not within loading distance) a HP.
Is this a known issue with any of the dats? If not, what's the best way I could go about diagnosing this and finding the issue?
Disregard. Computer musta just been unhappy about something. Gave the computer a full restart and everything is running fine now, no blinking, hitching, etc.

Not the greatest thing ever, but I didn't like how small the default XIView pointers were so I made them a little bigger while still trying to keep with the theme. zip folder contains dds files, an instruction pdf someone else created, and the exe needed to patch the dat files.

I installed the 18th Sep "all HD mods" pack but it replaced fonts as well which I don't like. Specifically the above characters head names and names in the party HP boxes.
Can anyone tell me what files to restore to get the originals back please?

Nvm, figured it out. Restored the following files to get back all original UI content:
D:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM\119\51.DAT
D:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM\119\57.DAT
On my computer it's D: drive, others might use C: etc.

the entire folder is 18 files 0-17, they are all the ag idris's and epeos.
SE been adding new stuff to files at end lately, if you wanna find something new go into Noesis, open up the newest # file and sort it by date modified then go up the folder numbers.
edit: missed some
The new scyth&axe files were added to rom/357/ (97-123)
124 is weird file not sure what is is
125,126,127 are epeo, idris, epeo
