both are true to an extent, I think we're all just tired of hearing about it. It doesn't do anyone any good to tell them the system is out to get them. If I thought the world was out to get me, why try? why work? why anything? I can't get anywhere, it's systematic racism! that's a terrible thought to indoctrinate a population with. Everyone wants equality till they feel a perceived slight against them. Then they need special treatment.

There's a whole generation of people that think they don't have to work hard because they don't have the same privilege as some others. They feel so oppressed by this system that they would rather tear down the lives of others to eliminate that injustice than work hard to build up their own lives.

Them blaming everyone else is a requirement for their ideology, without it they couldn't justify stealing wealth. The core concept is that nobody earned anything and everything was merely a result of happenstance. Thus the wealthy didn't really earn that wealth, are not entitled to keeping it and the liberals are justified in confiscating the wealth and using it for "social justice". It's the exact same ***that Communists did for the exact same reason, power and control. Taking on racial overtures is just a mechanism to divide people and *** others into being useful idiots.

Two tenants of Marxism/liberalism

1) Everyone is the same. The boss doesn't actually do anything more valuable than the workers, therefore he doesn't deserve any other kind of compensation.

2) The existence of factories are natural. Factories aren't produces of risk mitigation by individuals, they are natural phenomenon and as such no one any more entitled to the output than everyone else.

now if only problems could be fixed by just pointing them out often enough... or feeling bad about them.

Come up with a solution to all the world's problems (or just global warming, poverty and racial injustice for starters) that doesn't inconvenience me directly or in any way, doesn't pretend human nature can be controlled, doesn't further tax my meager resources, doesn't involve me changing lifelong patterns of behavior, isn't reliant on me switching to a diet based on wheat-grass, doesn't include these fruitless ridiculous shaming campaigns...

and after your solution is proven to work efficiently with little or no effort on my part I'll duly consider your proposal....

While you're at it perhaps consider the possibility that the idea of calling out everyone that doesn't agree with you 100% as racist homophobic science denying misogynistic deplorable gun clinging bible thumping slack jawed inbred bigots wasn't the greatest strategy after all...

For the life of me, the point that always gets me is how liberals somehow can't process the following logic.

1) Democrats are the party of the poor / poor people vote democrat.
2) Therefore democrats have a vested interest in promoting policies that produce MORE poor people.

This is exactly why Trump will win big in 2020. They won't take a moment of reflection to realize that America rejected their political philosophy.

I can bet with almost certainty the Democrats will get either a woman a minority or combo of both. To try to portray Trump as a racist bigot that only cares about white people on Wall Street. Someone so far to the left they make Bernie look sane.

The Democrats don't have any leadership they are too busy arguing over what to be outraged by Trump racism sexism sexual assault etc.

It won't matter, the economy will be doing so well that no one will vote for them.

Trump is going to be able to show everyone how the experts and talking heads don't have a *** clue as to what they're talking about. The market didn't crash, the economy didn't tank, and racists don't put forth policies that see record low minority unemployment.

The only thing the left will be able to do is continue to gaslight. Projecting a doom and gloom that only the most gullible will believe, and portray Trump as unfit for office, he's too vulgar, he's too unpolished, he drinks too many diet cokes (they do link to dementia you know), and he has too many scoops of ice cream.

I truly look forward to being wrong. I hope he ushers in utopia.

We need to abolish the welfare cliff. When you can earn the equivalent of a 60k salary by sitting on your ***, there is zero incentive to better your life, and every incentive to whine for more handouts.
