I'm just hoping Caladbolg has some stupid augments
Follwing Redemption, Caladbolg will be:
314 dmg
+10% Torcleaver damage
+15 STR/DEX/VIT and AGI or MND or + 20-25 VIT/STR

We already know we're getting more than that from the examples shown.
I like that they are unique in some aspect, but not all the same as each other. We knew we were getting base damage, but I'll be happy if every weapon type focuses on some unique JA/JT of the job to make it distinct and not just a carbon copy of something else. At least make the decision to upgrade (or make) one type of weapon over another interesting.
I would like to see some hefty wyvern bonuses to one of DRG's REMAs, to encourage me to make one. Would also like to see some interesting status debuffing jump options.
Wouldn't be upset if they gave RNG bow an ability to shoot multiple shots occasionally without JA
You know for sure Monk is getting more kick stuff on at least one of the weapons.
NIN I would hope they add something absurdly useful to Utsusemi, like give it the ability to not wipe during aoe (won't happen).
There's definitely a lot of potential they could put out, based on what we've seen. Let's hope they didn't get lazy and make every weapon exactly like the examples, and just a copy/paste job of a jobs.

What is everyone smoking.... this is SE, spend all your time dreaming up your own personal stat boosts, then experience crushing despair when SE does the lazy thing.

Skill 296 or 323 depending on how high wants our power base to be, maybe just Acc/Atk that would simulate the effect of +skill.

Did you not see the screenshots and Afania's translation? +X% damage to the weapon's WS, and a unique stat on one of them (absorb casting time reduction).

This is just gonna break Corsair even more. Any boost of that value to Leaden Salute is just silly in terms of its value placed next to a 15% boost to other mythic weaponskills like Mandalic Stab, Death Blossom, etc- weaponskills that are "acceptable" in terms of damage but pale in comparison to others of that weapon category available (Rudras, Savage Blade to compare within weapon type/job). Meanwhile, Wildfire which DOESN'T scale in terms of damage with TP, gets 10% boost?
I know this is a very unique situation as "most" mythic weaponskills need a larger boost than a comparative empyrean weaponskill that one job can use- but this just shows how a cookie-cutter approach isn't going to end well.
Dunno- it'll be something to do without adding much new to my inventory, just bumping up existing things, so there is that benefit. And I do hope its implemented well so that there's some "job enhancement" given to them and not just a stronger beatstick.

I see them adding this either to DP or the new dagger. Probably a potency increase above Regal would be a reasonable option. Third roll would be really cool, but not holding my breath that they are this generous.

Honestly, I'd really like it if they would quit it with the borderline useless(or actually useless, Hi Dragoon's collar) wyvern/jump enhancements. Points for creativity, like on the relic body... but it's not any kind of significant improvement for DRG.
Attaching bonuses to jumps is a losing proposition. You're tying any gains to what is, in a high haste environment, a long *** recast. Adding literally thousands of dmg to jumps was a minuscule dps gain. If they do anything for jumps at all, it needs to be noticeable recast-. That's about the only thing that'd have decent dps returns.
As for wyvern enhancements... Unless said enhancement boosts the gains from wyvern param bonus, it's not likely to amount to, well, much of anything.
Now not everything has to be about DPS, I like utility enhancements just fine too. But if they're going to add that instead of giving me some decent DD stats, I'd like it if it was actually useful.
/rantoff. Pardon my pessimism, but I'm maintaining low expectations. Then I can be pleasantly surprised if they actually do add something good.

Very much hoping for 3rd roll over potency of rolls boosted, and I doubt that they'll hurt their baby Ou's relativity to current content by removing the need of a Regal Neck for any COR, even if its a small percentage. Hell, they can even make a cap of 4 rolls active at once if they want just let me do 3 on 1 cor. Ideally? Put it on the dagger so there's some "sacrifice" of not getting to gear your main or sub slot for magical damage purely if the COR is going with a straight Leaden strat for an event- ie dynamis-D.
More likely? If they ever add it, its probably coming on the DP- that's the expansion that introduced COR, its the only RMEA that's COR-only, and is in many ways the defining weapon of a COR in the minds of the playerbase.

Sad thing about these upgrades is I dont think its going to change BIS DD rema choice for many people.
for example upgraded AG Nagi is still going to be dumpster tier compared to aeonic katana.
I'd really like the gap to be fixed and made smaller between weapons so I could justify making more weapons. Feels bad when AG weapons become nothing more than lockstyle items.

TBH, the weapons increasing their WSs' damage is already above what my expectations were. I was expecting 5-10% DMG increase, 20-30 attack/accuracy, and that's about it.

Currently the dps check for content is low enough, minus Iroha fight. I already feel what's shown in SS already make the hardest content trivial. And people want even more power creep lol.
Also no to 3rd roll. More time spent on roll = less time to dps. Never mind the fact that cor doing chaos SAM magus or runeist is utterly broken if it's not already a very strong job with just 2 rolls atm.

There is a cap on how many songs/rolls a character can have, I just can't remember if it's 10 or 12 or more. I just know that if you have double bard, double cor to prep a party and the bard's both 1hr with 4 rolls, you hit that cap. Which means (I think) it's less than 14 (10 songs, 4 rolls is unattainable?). I wish I could find the source, but it was a screenshot of a melee WoC recently. I found out that in 2007 the limit used to be a max of 3. 2 songs and 1 roll or 2 rolls and 1 song. They obviously changed this over time.

There is a cap on how many songs/rolls a character can have, I just can't remember if it's 10 or 12 or more.
It's 12, Sechs made a forum post about it and we've been experiencing it with our attempts on MT4.

More meva/mdef on top of 2 very strong rolls, dia4 and being strong 1h DD with the ability to tri-wield DREAM weapons. Seems pretty OP to me, lol.
And yeah Magus roll can make a difference if you compare the damage taken with and without.
I mean, I personally feel COR is so good atm that it doesn't need 3rd roll to stay competitive in anyway. And having access to 3rd rolls means more time to roll/wait for roll to finish and less time to DPS, that kinda killed the flow of COR playstyle when the job is intended to head toward the direction to spend more time DDing and less time buffing.
If people want more balance between buffing time and DD time, they should play BRD lol.
Likewise, torcleaver dmg + 100% is equally broken, lol.

No point comparing COR with idris since they don't share the same buff slot though. It's not like GEO takes the COR slot away if COR don't get 3 rolls.
And GEO is nerfed hard in many relevant contents anyways.

Speaking of Relics, has SE ever stated why they won't add new jobs to relics? I can kinda understand the lore aspect of COR, PUP and BLU not being on them, since Aht Urghan chose to stay out of the Crystal War, but they kinda screwed that lore up when they added Relic armor for those jobs to Dynamis. Meanwhile, SCH and DNC were literally both in the war, yet no relic access.

The truth is the AF2 that comes from Dynamis is from us going into the past with AF2 and ending up in Dynamis, then those adventurers die and the people who find their AF2 go into the maws to go into the past....
