If you want to stop global warming, go after China and India, not dairy farmers in California.

It's a collective effort.

BWAHAHAHAHA

The left doesn't touch China / India other then to occasionally send a "strongly worded letter". Too many of their leaders have economic interests there.

That happens when "the future of planet Earth" is exploited for political gain.

Definitely is a good reason to shorten the life of Planet Earth. Got to make it a competition. If you let the lefties win one topic it will be terrible! Worse than the end of the world!

But yea saving the world from a potential threat is Imperialism and Socialism.

If you would stop making it an entirely binary argument, maybe you would actually make some ground here. I'm not bothered one ounce that the Left wants to save the planet. I'm bothered by their counterproductive and ridiculous approach to handling it.

Just because they claim to have a monopoly on planet saving, there is this logical fallacy that opposing them automatically means that by fighting whatever ridiculous ideas pop into their head it means that you hate the planet. It's the same, boring, overused tactic that the Left uses for practically everything.

Dislike the current state of Social Security? You hate old people.
Trying to repeal the Obamacare fiasco? You want to kill the sick and poor.
Have a problem with the tactics of Black Lives Matter? You're such a racist.

China realised they *** up and stopped their CO2 growth and it's going down slowly, India has to try harder, sure.
Oh I'd love to see a source on that one.

Huh.... who the *** is lying to you. China's CO2 growth is still going up, building new coal plants to fuel their expanding economy, same with India.

You're missing quite a few. There's probably no less than 72 horsemen, so it's a matter of choosing the best ones.

Methane is a much more potent greenhouse gas than co2. I know it's funny to laugh about cow farts but it's far from a minor contribution to the larger problem.

I think the number is 18% of green house gases come from agriculture. Apparently there is a seafood you can put in cow food that reduces their emissions by 90%!

Yes because making choices now that effect our future generation is being a hero. Let's mock smart decisions, that will get us far.

Aren't you doing the same thing by assuming every "left" idea is socialistic or imperialistic? You, Nausi and KN do the exact same ***but then you turn around and pretend like you have the higher moral ground?

This isn't even about anything you said either way. The Paris Climate Agreement was merely a step in the right direction and a show of potential change. It didn't even bind us to do anything other than make efforts to reduce our impact on climate change, yet we pulled out? There was nothing there that would hurt us and staying in would only show our resolve to change but you guys think pulling out was a good idea? See that is where the line is. We aren't making up some argument here like the social security argument mentioned, you are literally against reducing peoples impact on the climate because that is pretty much what this agreement was about. Pulling out does nothing to protect the US, it just shows that the US doesn't care about climate change. Don't delude yourself here, this act is black and white.

Please tell me what part of this was hurting the US : https://ec.europa.eu/clima/policies/international/negotiations/paris_en

You make this into a black and white argument, and I'm deluding myself? Environmentalists were already basing lawsuits on the Paris Accord as a way of fighting Trump as he systematically dismantles Obama's executive orders. If the agreement was nothing but feel-goods, then people wouldn't be so outraged at us withdrawing.

But again, we waste a ton of money on band-aids when what we really need is technological innovation.

Climate change is the embodiment of the worlds movement towards communism. Pulling out of the Paris accords and giving it the finger is a magnificent blow to the movement. Hell, even Obama had to come out and put his unwanted 2 cents in.

Telling this globalist cabal to *** off is the best thing Trump could for America and Americans. He needs to smash this ideology 6 feet into the ground.

Feel free to grabs links from a few pages back.

Oh you mean where China said it would regulate air pollution in it's cities?

That has jack ***to do with CO2 from it's coal fired plants.

What benefit is to me if I believe in global warming. And I still die form it anyways ? If we are all headed to the same fate it doesn't really matter.

Because the argument is black and white. It is either you support reducing our impact on climate change or you don't. It is literally that simple, what facets are you going to use to argue that point against me? There is no overly complex argument here and there isn't a way you turn this flip the tables to make anyone supporting that to look like a bad guy. There IS definitive proof that we are effecting our climate to some extent or are you going to argue that from your computer chair when there are scientists who spend countless of hours studying this stuff disagreeing with you? Given that there is evidence why shouldn't we do whatever we can to reduce our impact? Even if we aren't confident that it will save us that doesn't mean we should do it. We are for sure damned if we don't make an effort and there is at least a chance we aren't damned if we do.

Stop trying to "Shapiro" this argument, it is nothing but a poor deflection that results in your own denial.

Probably because they were skeptical for years and did tons of studies. Like I may show you an ice cube and tell you its cold, you can be skeptical at first but once you touch it and see its cold are you still going to be skeptical?

Why should we do what you want ? Do we not have free will to think for ourselves. Or do we all have to believe what you believe ?
