hey guys, just wanted to see if there is anything better i can do with my Helix gear set. should i change anything for better results?

Then either you use a Merlinic you got with more MAB/MACC but no MB Bonus or you lose Static earring/Locus.

it's not that obi doesn't work, it's that helix automatically gets the benefit so obi can't add anything extra besides the chance to save mp

After gently looking over the other forums it seems INT and MDMG are the two categories of main focus. The dINT value caps @ 100. Im wondering if im already over the INT cap, and will MAB actually help?

for me the choice comes down to inventory, my amalric+1 is used on blu blm and sch, so the choice is easy

Completely agree... can you explain how arbatel feet hold value ? They seem outdated since reisn. Is 15 % boost outweigh the loss of int,macc,mab?

Its the strongest item in the set minus the staff? easy to test, throw on amalric+1 or your best merlinic and see what does more.

Requires you to cap MB in the other slots without using head (and feet) though.
Personally I can't reach 40% without the head and feet slot atm, but with better augs on body and legs, sure.
Still, pretty good piece!

No I meant: You already cannot use feet slot to get MBB1 because of the Empy feet, which means you need to cap MB1 in the other slots (neck, 1 ring, staff, head, body, hands, legs).
Removing head means one less slot "available" to cap MBB1.
I haven't done the math but I guess it's perfectly doable, it will require much better augs in the body/legs slots though (not including hands becuse assuming Amalric)

This seems to be the best I could come up with.
Akademos + neck + body (10%) + earring and ring is 40%
I heard conflict opinion about Magic burst bonus from gits tho. Some ppl say it goes under 40% limit cap and some say they exceed it. Anyone know how it's really are?
EDIT: I actually changed it. Merlinic legs instead of Amalric legs+1
Friomisi Earring instead of Static. Jhakri ring instead of Locus.
Amalric legs +1 are +70MAB +20MAcc +40Int
Merlinic are only max at +45-55MAB, but has potentially a lot higher Macc and INT and also Magic Damage +13
Changing ring and earring also adds +13Mab and +6Macc, so some of that MAB loss from Amalric legs is given back here.
You need +18 Magic Burst Bonus between legs and body. You cna always use Locus ring too if you can't get +18 on body and legs and you will only need +15 then.
Actually Amalric Legs +1 are +80MAB, because set bonus from 2 first pieces is +20, so Idk if that's worth it after all. Seems like Amalric Legs and hands with Static earring and Locus ring are better.

Tested this on some Reisen NM level content this is the absolute best me and another friend came up with

merlinc head 11% 35mab
merlinic boy 10% 27mab/7int
merlinic legs 11% 30mab
This was beating all the akademos combos we could throw at it with amarlic+1 and empy feet with matching weather klimaform.
This really came down to carrying 3 extra pieces of gear, merlinic burst body/legs and raetic staff+1 for an extra 3% helix dmg. Obviously if you werent going for helix duration the ambuscade cape would be put int for max dmg

1. Are you using Raetic just for MB and helixes or just helixes? Or maybe MP doesn't run out even with the 30% added and you full time it on all nukes?
2. With almaric are resists not an issue? Or is this assuming marine stew pots, idris geo focus or something similar?
