"So I'm looking at two-state and one-state — and I like the one that both parties like," Trump said.
Such ambivalence. Much spineless.

Maybe if Trump didn't insult the media so often, they wouldn't be so hard on him?
Just a thought. Reciprocity is real.
Because that worked so well for Dubya.

Welp, in another humiliation, looks like Puzder doesn't have the votes to be confirmed as Labor Secretary. Expecting him to drop out.
You act like this is a person that people generally care about.

Oh, its the "downplaying" strategy. Yeah, not working. Expect a Trump temper tantrum before too long.

We've hit a point where being elected is an impeachable offense.
We hit that 15.5 years ago, retroactive to 17 years ago.

You're right, downplaying isn't necessary. The people who support Trump don't even care, so instead it's a bunch of anti-Trumpers patting themselves on the back for extremely minor victories and making a big deal out of nothing.

And yet you continue to try to unsuccessfully downplay it.

It looks like the 2020 election season is officially underway.
Poll: Trump trails generic Democrat, but not Warren, in 2020
CNN
And Trump has already started fundraising for his "self funded" 2020 run.
/sigh

Welp, in another humiliation, looks like Puzder doesn't have the votes to be confirmed as Labor Secretary. Expecting him to drop out. Good. No thug that Trump puts forward for any post from today onward should get a confirmation. They should be sent back time and again with the word "rejected" stamped tattooed in red on their foreheads. Fixed

"Despite the public’s increasing misgivings about Trump’s behavior and tactics in the White House, he still beats Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) in a hypothetical matchup, 42 percent to 36 "
/points and laughs at warren

Warren would be a very, very bad choice for 2020. She'd basically be Hillary 2.0.
Even I, who agrees with so many of her policies, think her presentation and past faux pas are problematic though ultimately forgivable. But that past is a major weakness in the general election. You can't go against/court the Trump/Trump analog voter base with someone like Liz Warren.
...which is exactly why she'll probably be the DNC's choice in 2020, because they're so *** caught up in identity politics that they've lost sight of actually achieving anything for everyone involved.

I hope she gets the nomination....
and who else do they even have? Martin "My own family didn't vote for me" O'Malley
Hillary running again would actually be hillary 2.0 ....

The last poll I saw showed Warren not even breaking even in her own state. Put her in, coach. She's ready to play.

The 2020 season began Nov 9th. Democrats are doing everything to generate controversy and scandal with the goal of demonizing Trump so whomever they chose will have a better chance. The Republicans did the exact same thing after Obama got elected and it backfired on them big time. The Democrats will lose more Congress seats in 2018 and lose again in 2020 before they learn the lesson. Stop using identity politics, they don't work anymore and just make everyone using them look like "big red" SJW feminatzi. Politicians really need to learn how to take the high road without looking detached or snobbish.

So, the guy who supported Clinton is supposedly totally nonchalant and laughing about the loss, and that's not downplaying. What's really downplaying is me diminishing the impact of some guy the vast majority of America had never heard of not getting a cabinet position that almost nobody cares about.
Makes sense.

If republicans didn't constantly threaten to take away civil rights like abortion and homosexual rights there would be no need to talk about these things. Imagine how beautiful a constructive political debate centered entirely around economics!

Glad you understand, now maybe if you would stop focusing on 2016 and 2020 you might also understand that the current WH is mirred in scandal that they, not the media or dems, created all on their own. Fantasizing about future elections while Trump is in the gutter just adds to the amusement.

KN and I discussing labor policy is as close as you're going to get to that.
Not so pretty after all, ne?

Well thanks to the democrats it only takes a simple majority now, courtesy of that rule change back in 2008 or 2012 they pulled.
Be an obstructionist that will teach them.
