That's exactly how it's used, it's also the biggest reason Hillary lost. She never bothered with the "white male" identity group because they simply don't matter in the cool, hip, progressive world. Need to get the "black vote", the "latino vote", the "women's vote", the "muslim vote" and so forth. Every voter was divided into nice little groups that were then weighted and it was determined what was needed to say to get each one to vote for her. We'll pay for all your birth control and force employers to pay you more then your male counterparts, women vote checked. We'll make all your family and friends american citizens, and if your not then we'll make you one too, latino vote check. We'll increase welfare payments and tax the rich white folk for it, black vote check. So on and so forth for each group, with "white males" playing the part of the evil oppressors that need to receive social justice.

Then the election happened and people were shocked by the sheer volume of red counties / states. But but but we're the progressive party of equality, we strive to make everyone more equal then those evil white men. How could we lose, don't all these people see how great we are at taking wealth from evil white men and redistributing it to everyone else. What those evil white men had opinions and didn't want to have their wealth redistributed, they aren't allowed to have opinions those racist sexist homophobe ***. Why don't they lay down and take the theft properly like Politically Correct mules are supposed to.

I watched the new Celebrity Apprentice with Arnold and it is terrible.

He doesn't have the charisma of Trump.

Plus when Arnold Talks I need to have closed captions on to understand what the hell he is saying.

All that matters in this world is who you are as a person. Just like their are *** out there who are white (*shock*), there are *** out there who are black (*shock*), Asian (*shock*), Oompaloompa (well, there's only one orange person in the world, and he's PotUS, so *shock*), Green (damn lizard people), or Russian (*in Soviet Russia, racists shock you*).

But seriously. People who care about racism are the ones who are most likely to spread it. Not saying it doesn't exist, but to glorify it is doing just as much damage as doing it.

This narrative that every white person gets called a nazi, a racist, etc is just ridiculous. People who act like such are the ones called by their name; maybe some just don't wanna admit who they are.
If you're not one of them then stop being apologetic. Milo whateveropulos, Bannon, Spencer, those are all of the above. I'm tired of seeing someone going "boo everyone is a nazi to progressives" when these people and the ones like them get the flack they deserve.

That's been my point. *** race ***, we're all Americans and should just accept that. No more identity politics, no more compartmentalizing everyone into "acceptable victim class's" and then creating different social rules for each. "Your black so you can say X / Y / Z and we all must be sensitive to it". "Your a women so your allowed to say / do A / B / C". "Oh your a white male, well you can do F and don't let us catch you doing anything else".

The obsession with race seems odd. I never once woke up thinking. Hey I'm white ! Mostly it's damn I'm still tired ?

This is why privilege needs to be considered. Yes, ideally individual differences shouldn't matter, but we are still far from existing in this ideal. There are many avenues to upward mobility that are more difficult because some of those differences become obstacles due to bigoted people in power or systematic practices that discriminate, explicitly or otherwise.

It matters. If it's never been something you've had to deal with then congratulations because it's not exactly the most lifting experience. Diminishing other people's experiences with 'who the *** cares' when it so obviously still does emphasizes the lack of perspective and an unwillingness to understand.
