In a test game earlier this year Germany beat Italy 4:1, there are your 5 goals.
But that doesn't count because Italy doesn't play us seriuosly in friendly matches. Also mentioned I will change it in respect of the Goalkeepers.

As for Italy's game style. When on attack they switch to a 3 men defense, their wing backs stood extremely high, between opoonent's midfield and defense. Both attackers stay in the center and bind the central backs so that the opponent cannot be doubled on the wings. Their passing had been quite accurate, aiming for a high packing stat.
Pellè is the key in the build up, as he mostly gets the first important ball. Hope we don't make the same mistake as 2012, when we had moved one of our players as watchdog for Pirlo, and destroying our own system along with it.
We should just pull one of our 6 back to fill that space.

We have no central midfielder tonight. De Rossi is injured, Thiago Motta is disqualified and Conte didn't bring anyone else for that role(he prefered the useless Sturaro over Jorginho sigh..)

Expect Bonucci(central defender)to act as playmaker.

Sure about De Rossi? I know he was in hospital for check up, but never heard that he will definitly not play.
Would be weird for Italy to clarify that till the last minute.

Either way it is sad, I always wanted to play Italy at its best since the very beginning. Even if he plays I doubt it will be at 100%, and yellow cards to block Motta....I guess I will change my Tipp more in favour of us....

He got a pretty bad injury. I'm not sure of the exact thing but something like the muscle moved out of its position(which I didn't even know it was possible). He's trying to recover but I think it's impossible.

Yepp, he doesn't start today. I wish us all much fun watching the best teams of the tournament, though I don't believe in my Tipp, due to the best goalkeepers and good working defenses, but I had a spectecular game inside my head that prevents me from changing it.

The game is as I feared. Italy was better but not as brave as against spain.

Neuer is stronger. But really it's the ones kicking them that matter more because if a penalty is shot well it's uncatchable.

My plus is for the second sentence. Gigi is about the same level for the core GK task.
