Can we just free market the *** out of healthcare already? I don't care if someone fresh out of medical school wants to play Operation with my body so long as I can get a decent health exam without having to pay half my monthly income in fees, legalese and ***. How's 40 bucks and whatever I've got cold in my fridge for you to cup my balls and tell me i don't have cancer? Good? Good.

Just burn the whole damn thing down already. Unleash the basement doctors with fix-a-flat peddling *** surgery, the Appalacia dentists armed with Home Depot drills and left over Oxy, the lady who claims to know alot about vaginas because she's been *** deep in quite a few over the years. Anything to end this pathetic illusion we continue to peddle in America that healthcare is a Democratic, Republican or political problem to begin with.

The whole damn problem is like a tumor it's gone from being something that sustained life to a hunk of foul smelling flesh hanging off your thigh you *** out on TLC to make a buck for the surgery you can't afford because it costs more than your entire *** gross income.

Consequently it's the same problem that increases the dumbfuckery assaulting my frontal lobe with 'natural cures' that solve everything from whiskey *** to your kids being a disappointment. Anything to avoid the fact that when you trim away all the political, socioeconomic and ideological ***shoveling that you can't afford 75 dollar Tylenol and 600 dollars in gauze the nurse used to wrap your wound. That your greatest fear isn't turban wearing jihadist garbage shouting about a snack bar but it's seeing your goddamned regular doctor who is supposed to be helping you not die of dysentery.

The entire way a trip to the doctor is framed is all you need to know the entire process is a *** up mess.

What insurance do you have? Proceed to talk about complicated plans that even the people in the industry don't really understand. If you have no insurance, proceed to being escorted out by security or laughed at by everyone.

Next:

1. Here, sign all these papers dressed to the nines with puffery. TL;DR sign the *** Xs already.

2. We aren't going to talk at all about how much anything actually... you know... costs. Have a mint from the mint bowl, though. Not the green ones though, those are disgusting heresy.

3. Wait in a well manicured waiting room. Read WebMD magazine because you didn't know they actually had a publication.

4. Proceed through the gates into the actual medical portion of the office after the receptionist gives you the smile of someone who knows you're about to be financially sodomized.

5. See the nurse, who will be doing the majority of the work today. Roll up your sleeve ***, we don't have time for you to be a gigantic pussy because we're going to draw some blood and take your blood pressure.

5. Finally. Shake hands with the doctor who knows *** about costs, has like 4 more important people to deal with and doesn't have time for your dumb *** questions about inability to perform in bed. WebMD that ***.

6. Drop your pants cause this is the part every doctor justifies their pay on. Wiggle, wiggle goes the finger. It's not gay unless you catch an erection. But I'm not judging you if you do. You paid hundreds of dollars for this moment, afterall.

7. Find out everything is OK if the doctor doesn't suggest expensive tests that'd probably make you sick if you saw how much everything costs. If tests were prescribed, you're probably *** at this point. Ask and be denied your request for powerful painkillers here.

8. See you in six months the doctor says as you leave the cold office. You manage to mutter out a nervous response here as you wonder how much this all costs because you have no idea how your insurance plan actually works. You're probably not coming back here until you either bluescreen or the significant other forces you under pain of a disapproving look.

And that, is American healthcare. Best in the world. Live it, learn it, never question it.

while people avoid tax everyday online and with cash?

I pay tax for that. Places that associate with Pennsylvania charge me taxes whereas I pay a use tax every year for the transactions I make that do not...

Most vendor sites that are on point use your local taxes based on the zip used for the billing address.

Yeah. Some Amazon and similar transactions still don't but most have got on board over the past few years.
It depends on the state in question and if they have a physical presence there.

Texas has an Amazon warehouse, so every Amazon purchase by Texas residents have to pay sales tax. No way out of that, it's in the Texas code.

So, NY being today made me look at the polling data again, and it paints a very interesting picture:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/2016_presidential_race.html

Some of the component polls are almost a month old at this point (and I wish they used LV and not RV), but the pattern is pretty consistent.

If you're the GOP elite, you have to be hoping for stalemate in NY. Kasich is your clear winner in the general, if you can survive the catastrophe from a brokered convention. Both Trump and Cruz need to sputter out to make that even remotely feasible.

If you're the Democratic elite, you've already thrown your hat in with Hillary and have to hope 1) that she wins in a landslide and 2) that Trump wins big. You don't want them going to a brokered convention, because that might end up with them fielding a candidate who can actually beat you.

The problem with those polls is they all start with "If the election were held today ..."

But the election will not be held the day of the question, it will be held in November, months after the conventions and a few more months after the poll.

And even republicans see a contested convention as a party shattering event. Some political analysts see it as one that could lead to a major realignment of party loyalties, even to the total disintegration of the GOP.

I can pretty much guarantee that most democrats, from the elites to the man on the street, are hoping for a contested GOP convention.

Yeah. I mean, I get his point about not wanting to destabilize the position for our military or upset diplomatic relations, but we're talking about direct involvement with terrorists that did some truly grizzly stuff.

Forget private citizens suing them, we should really have taken much more direct national action against them if the report actual implicates them.

That's because the petrodollar and Saudi love triangle couldn't be affected for the sake of keeping Iraq and Iran's productions in check; at the time. Nobody saw Brazil having a massive amount of offshore oil coming; back then. We could have destabilized global oil production and had China suckling at our teets for a decade. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Things like this are why I could never be a politician. I just could never for the life of me go against my principles and treat a country like Saudi as an ally because of economic reasons. I'd sooner go broke.
I'm like a samurai irl, got this very strict code of honour I live by. But unfortunately, always abiding by your honour can be detrimental even to yourself at times, and I understand that perfectly. But still can't change. Digressing.

Having actual principles as a politician won't get you very far.

Pretending to, though? You're gonna go far, kid.

UnitedHealth shares jumped 2.2 percent, or $2.79, to $130.60 in morning trading Tuesday. The company also raised its forecast for 2016 and announced first-quarter results that beat expectations.

But some companies, like Molina Healthcare, have said they have managed to turn a profit from the exchanges.

So, capitalism at work.

Actually, with capitalism.. When a company loses a billion dollars in two years or less and dramatically pulls out of markets. Stock prices would fall... Just sayin..
